  • What's for Induction Dinner Tonight????

I'm not in Induction Phase anymore, but here's the Induction friendly foods I'm having tonight.

Alaskan King Crab Legs (probably 1 leg---because the ones I bought are huge!)

Cucumber salad: sliced cucumbers, sliced red onion, tossed with lemon juice and olive oil.

    What are you having?

I had chilled avocado soup and yellow bell pepper filled with chicken salad and garnished with fried parsley.

For the soup I used this recipe:
Creamy Avocado Soup from Mike's Table
but since milk does not agree with my weight loss, I added more cream and a little water instead.

I love this question! We're having baked chicken, crustless quiche that includes some brocolli, celery and green peppers, as well as a green salad (lettuce and cucumbers). I'll make a mayo based dressing for the salad.

I had baked courgettes (zucchini) topped with bacon and cheese!

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

The majority of our daily carbs are to come from vegetables when we do Atkins. Also you should be spreading those vegetables out through the day, so that every meal has a vegetable serving.

Anyhow, tonight I've having Joe's Special, but I'm substituting Swiss chard for the spinach.

I'm having baked avocado with garlic cheese and bacon to start and then chicken in white wine and cream for the main course and if I'm still hungry berries and cream. How could you ask for more and still lose weight?!!

Today I had broccoli and cauliflower soup, and roasted kohlrabi (with garlic and shredded cheese) with steamed fish.

BTW, any ideas what else I can do with kohlrabi? I'm wondering if chips would work...
