  • Good Evening Ladies!!

    So far so good here have pretty much stayed the course. I will tell you that I wish it would come melting off fast...lol. I had to meet with my photographer for our wedding and she was amazed I haven't gotten my dress yet. Honestly I don't think if I go buy a dress right now is the right thing to do since I am trying to lose. I was thinking around August time. That way I kinda have a idea how things are going. What do you all think? Is that wise?

    Vikski.....I am still doing Induction myself and this is my 4th week. I feel as though I need to really stay on this for a bit. Gets my body used to it. Keep up the great work. I know you can do it!!

    Shelly Lynn.....Congratulations on your not cheating. I know it's hard but you go girl....it will be well worth it.

    Sallyb.......I have been on the Induction phase going on 4th week. So far so good. I do get the help with ediets to get different ideas on what to eat. Which is a great help to me in my profession.

      I think it's wise for you to wait to get your wedding dress, but something you had to consider is how long will it actually take to get your wedding dress? I actually went to a warehouse and bought mine the same day. Luckily it needed only minor alternations. I've heard of it take a few months for some to get their dresses though.

      Anyways, I did well today. I'm getting back in the same frame of mind where I was. Loveangel, take it from me - stay on plan. Don't fray. It's really hard to get back on track!!!!!

      One thing you really might want to consider is joining bootcamp on this site. This is how we all met. Bombshells was the name of our bootcamp team. It was a great experience.

        yep i agree with aug. that should give you four months. Im still doing good. i weighed myself today and i am down from mondays weigh in at 181 to 175.0
        I feel so good. I just dont want to mess up at all. Hope eveyone else is doing good. My 6Week Exercise Challege #18 starts this sunday. Chat with you laters. Hey how is isabeau have not heard from her. Hope she is fine.

        • hey all just checking in.
          entered my weight and measure ment information for the 6WEC #18 today. I was sad to inform that i went from 175 to 177 in just 1 day but i thought ok at least i know its because tom is sneaking around so its probably just water retention. Just need to make sure i stick to thes way of eating and should not have any problems. I actually feel really bad ramping its weird because i know its early to be cramping but thats what this way of eating will do to your TOM. At least i know ill be back to a normal schedule like everyone says pretty soon. Chat with you laters.

            Hope you all had a great weekend and are keeping well.

            Shelly, your doing very well staying on track, I'm so pleased for you,
            the 2 lb increase is minimal for tom, this woe really does mess up tom!
            I've not had tom for 6 weeks :yikes - hope to resume normality soon!

            Viki, loveangel, how you doing, how was your weekend?

            I'm doing OK, staying cheat free, don't even consider a cheat at
            the moment, which is nice. However my problem is working out!
            Since my surgery and medication I have not really been in a
            position of strength to work out in the gym, I've walked every
            day but I really want to start doing more now, I'm going to
            give it a try today and see how my body deals with it.

            Struggling to eat enough at the moment, so I've been making
            some really nice low carb soups which has helped (mind you
            made a crap one yesterday, but the dog loved it!). I have 2
            days left on antibotics, and I will be so pleased to stop taking
            these things...so fed up of them!

            Over the next weekend my parter Paul, Noah my baby son and
            I are going away for a long walking weekend to the cornwall
            coast, I can't wait for us all to have some time together. When
            we get back, providing I am doing ok I shall move on to OWL.

            Anyhows ladies, have a great day and eat well!

            • Evening Ladies!!

              I am doing great. Been busy with work..had to work this past weekend so was really tied up. Still sticking right to my diet. Thank you Vikski and Shelly Lynn for you great input on the wedding dress situation. I am going to wait till August and see how I am doing. I guess I will just have to pick from dresses that will be available at the time of purchase if I can't get the dress I really want at the time. But trust the good lord will bless me when that time comes....(prays)....lol

              How is everyone doing?? My mother saw me this weekend and she said it looks like I am losing weight. ...lol. That it looks like I am thining out...lol. I was like, thank you mom...lol. AMEN.....FINALLY!!!

              Sallyb....glad to here your doing good. Keep up your great work. I am trying to get my butt to walk more on my treadmill but it's been a little hard with my little girl (5 months) she has cut teeth and is cranky lately. Gonna try to do some of it later in the evening. When I have the help available...lol

              • Hi there. I'm doing good. Over the weekend I went to a bbq and saw some friends that I haven't seen in awhile. I went off. I was sooooo disappointed that I went off. Yesterday I started back up (I know, I know), but this time my hubby is doing it with me making it easier. I just need to get on my treadmill tonight. I feel like the biggest Atkins flake right now. I'm determined though to stick with it though.

                Loveangel, I think it is wise to wait to purchase your wedding dress. One thing I suggest is putting your baby in a playpen in sight of your treadmill with toys. I think you might find it easy to get in a workout while she is keeping herself busy playing. Just a suggestion.

                • Hi everyone. So far, so good. I think I have a new outlook on things now that my hubby is doing with me. I just need to start exercising. It's been very warm here in Vegas which is really tiring me out. I need to start exercising regardless though.

                  • Hey vicki congrad on the two days cheat free. thats how i got back on track to. All i wanted was to be able to come here and say 1/2 day cheat free and then 1 day cheat free and then 2 days cheat free after my two days i just didnt want to mess it up. Thats so awesome. Well i just entered my daily 4 miles on the 6WEC. If feel good to keep up the exercising. I started calling that one hour, MOMMY TIME.lol. Kids go t babysitters and mommy goes works out. Now that school is coming to an end im thinking about starting to walk at the high school track that is only about 30-50 yards form the apartment complex. We will see. Hope everyone is doing good.                         I guess i know where you have been, chatting up a storm with the woshie fairy...gotta send her my way girl. Last time i say your signature it was i believe 198 or 197 you go girrrrl. Gotta tell me what your doing. I have been exercising since may 11 and working on this woe and it seems to me like its going soooo slow. The only thing i can think of is i just have to keep working at it.

                        • Hi guys. 3 days cheat free! The only thing is that I haven't exercised yet. Last night I went home, worked on homework is my son, mopped the downstairs (all tile). I felt like that was a workout. I wasn't able to sit down and relax until 8:30. I started taking vitamins again this morning. This is something I wasn't really good at either.

                          This morning I found out that my husband already cheated after only doing it for 3 days. That was a downer and disappointment. I'm not gonna let this give me an excuse to cheat though. I'm gonna stay on track. I think mentally i'm getting there again to take off some more weight!

                          Isabeau, you're doing great. Thanks for the kick in the butt that I really needed last week. I think it did good and put me back on track. Who says tough love doesn't work!!!

                          • I had a small victory today at lunch. Every two weeks I go out to lunch with some co-workers. We call it girls lunch out. We pick a different place to eat everytime. Today we went to a mexican restaurant. They brought out the chips with 3 different dips. I asked the waitress if they had celery sticks or something. She was very non-accomodating. Anyways, I had no desire to cheat and have chips. I had a taco salad with shredded beef. I told them no beans or the tortilla shell. It came with the shell, but I didn't even have a smidge of shell. That's a victory for me. I think i'm finally back on track. Now kick my butt so i'll start walking again. I'll make that a goal tonight. To get my booty on the treadmill!!!!

                            • Hi there. 7 days I haven't cheated. This afternoon we went to the movies. My husband bought a huge bucket of buttered popcorn. I got so mad at him because he's supposed to be doing Atkins with me. Day 3 he cheated and day 7. Anyways, i'm still going strong. Didn't have one piece of popcorn. Was good and drank my water. It was tough. I got very grouchy because I felt deprived, but didn't cave. Another victory!

                              • Yes! Great vikski, you'll really be able to see that this excessive carb eating is really just an addiction, perhaps as well a distraction from our own emotional awareness.
