...After six days of turkey stuff, tomorrow I am definitely having something non-poultry!
Willing to bet your non-poultry meal will be non-paltry too!! (j/k)
Amazing the mileage we get out of those turkeys, isn't it?!!! I remember my childhood Christmases... the turkey stuff went on forever!
Tonight having "Risotto al radicchio" using shredded cauliflower. Will make a proper risotto for the family... they're welcome! After that, maybe some eggplant... just grilled and dressed with salt and newly pressed EVO. The EVO is completely different when newly pressed... intense in colour and above all aroma. That only lasts a couple of months though, then, although still wonderful, it loses that "new pressed" fragrance.

trying to stick to weighing only when I see my doctor once a month.
Yesterday for dinner I had pork rolled around prosciutto, fresh sage and cheese, cooked in wine and lemon juice. Side of zucchini, poached and served with home grown, freshly pressed (last month) EVO. Also had a very small portion of broad bean puree (made with broadbeans, little potato, anchovies, bay leaves, garlic and EVO). This is great as a spread, or just eaten alone.

THAT sounds delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finished off the chili last night (can't look at chili again for a looooong time!) Tonight, I'm having pork chops, faux mashed sweet potatoes, and a bean salad.
Oh wow... now I'm pining for both chili and for brussels sprouts!

Leek and potato soup for lunch today (made with fewer potatoes than the normal recipe calls for). Also a salad and a piece of cheese. Not much protein there... am due a nice piece of meat or something for supper.
