I see you discovered the power of the 'Rep point'!!

In case anyone else is wondering, you can award 'reputation points' to anyone by clicking on the little libra scales icon to the right of the top of their message if you want to thank them, congratulate them or to cheer them up (I often use them as a cyber-hug).

To stop it turning into a popularity poll where you can vote many times for the same person, you have to award rep points to other members before you can award a point again to any one member.

I think it is supposed to let the rest of the membership see if a poster is one who is thought highly of by other members and therefore give his/her posts some credibility.

If you want to read what members have said when they decide to award you a rep point you can view any comments in your 'User CP' (control panel) - click on the arrow beside the heading 'latest reputation received'.

            THIS THREAD MUST NEVER DIE!

I did fried salmon patties in the deep fryer. Just 1 can of Salmon, 2 eggs, spices whatever you like, chopped onion, and chopped celery. EASY!

The dipping sauce is Mayonnaise, horseradish, dash of lemon juice and dash of worstershire (sp?) and a little 1 carb ketchup.

Here is a pic and recipe from a weekly email I get for some reason from Martha Stewart's website. Usually the recipes are not lowcarb but this one is .
I havent made it yet but it looks really tasty.

                    Lemon-Parsley Pork Chops
Serves 4; Prep time: 10 minutes; Total time: 25 minutes
                    Ingredients
                    Zest of 1 lemon
                    2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
                    1 minced garlic clove
                    Coarse salt and ground pepper
                    2 tablespoons olive oil
4 bone-in loin pork chops (about 8 ounces each)

                    1. Mince lemon zest; combine in a small bowl with parsley, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Set aside.

                    2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Cook in skillet until browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side.

                    3. Add 1/2 cup water to skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover, and simmer gently until pork is cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer pork chops to a platter or serving plates; drizzle with pan juices as desired, and sprinkle with lemon-parsley mixture.

Per serving: 373 calories; 29 grams fat; 25.9 grams protein; 0.6 gram carbohydrates; 0.2 gram fiber

Note: To mince lemon zest, use a vegetable peeler to remove zest in long strips (avoid bitter white pith). Use a sharp knife to cut zest into thinner strips, then finely cut crosswise.

So yeah, the thing I hate about frying sausages, bacon, etc...is that I often either have the hob up too high or I forget about it...buring the food and filling the apartment with greasy smoke.
So, I bought the Big George Foreman grill today and it's great!
Very simple to use and my place won't be filled with smoke and grease!
I'm very, very happy about that!
Here's a pic of Big George and his first effort (bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs)
