Re: Week of December 10 Atkinites!!
Yea.. I LOVE watching movies, and I used to do the same thing.. pop-corn, pizza, soda, ice cream, subs, burgers, hotdogs.. you name it.. To me watching movies meant eating more crab!! I guess the cravings you had are mostly what the psychologists call (I think) "action by association". Most likely these all are false and psychological cravings and only associated with the action "watching movies".. They usually fade fast..
Dining out has never been a problem to me, as long as you pick the right restaurant. A steak house, grill or a seafood restaurant usually are the best kind of restaurant to pick from. You can easily customize your platter the way you like to have it. Good luck there, and always remember what Dr. Atkins said "One cheat and you're back to a glucose-burning metabolism. You can lose the effects of two or three days of fat burning with one cheat" (Page 200 of the updated version). Sure indeed, one cheat can knock you out of ketosis; just keep that in mind to be able to maintain all the great work you have already accomplished.
Hopefully we can hear from Richard soon. As for Bekka, I think she is busy with her finals, I am sure we are going to hear from her soon.
Let us know how it goes with your boss
