fat4now, i am only about 45 mins north of Newport Kentucky, i live between cincy and dayton. was just down in newport at the party source getting smokes last weekend. where are you from? KY...OH..? we could be practically neighbors.....small world, huh!!!
let's talk about exercising tonight.... i know alot of you are in the 6 WEC, and i think i've seen a few of you posting in other single exercise challenges too. i would love to see every buddy on here doing some sort of exercise. there is so much emphesis on the food we eat, but it seems like sometimes the exercise gets pushed to the side. part of this lifestyle is about becoming mobile(and by that i mean getting your exercise in). Dr. A even says that exercise is not an option. i know we all strive to do this plan the way it is written out for us, but the way it is written, to do it right includes exercising. in the spirit of Elsie's personal buddy list challenge, i propose this idea for next week. what if we all work to achieve to some sort of personal exercise goal.....IE-to begin an exercise routine, set a specifc goal on an exercise we already do, or try a new exercise regimine that we've yet to do. even if you've not exercised for years you could do something. how about walk to the end of your driveway 10 times everyday, or buy some small dumbbells(1-1/lbs) and do some arm curls, or even go for a leisurely walk everyday around your neighborhood. i would love to hear your thoughts on this, if you think you'd be interested, we can just post on our little thread just like everyone has been posting their water intake or whatever goals you had for this week.
Well I try to work out five times a week. Mon, Wednesday, and Friday I do the Couch to 5k program (finishing up week 3 tomorrow) and on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays I try to do some strength training using P90X. And I'll try and take some walks outside here and there with the family. I love excercising (weird never thought I'd say that) but I need to be careful I don't over do it.
