      Mike...LOL...you know you can only get so much divine intervention before you got to stay strong yourself...LOL! Good job listening though!!! You have a hard working Guardian Angel. How nice is that that you don't have to change your cheat day tracker!!

        LOL - I guess I DO have a hard working guardian angel! It's funny, all it takes to kill my urge to cheat is one little thing like that. As soon as I saw the machine was sold out the urge disappeared completely. Guess the real lesson is always to wait when temptation comes knocking - it will pass soon enough.

          My way of staying away from the diet coke at work is not bring any change or $1 bills to work with me. Worked this week so far. I am dying for one tho!!!

            I've stayed out of the cafeteria at work for over 3 weeks. That helps me stick to just drinking water.

                  hey everyone. just checking in. i'm doing ok diet wise, and even went for a bike ride tonight after work. pretty worn out now. don't have a lot to say, but i do want to welcome all the new buddies to the group.

                    Hello all!

                    Thank you for all your concern and encouragement. I have come back from the episode on Tuesday. I felt horrible and didn't eat much at all..but I have resolved that issue and I'm on track again. I got myself up to about 15 carbs today with the following:

                    Breakfast -- chicken salad (mayo and chicken with some Mrs Dash) and a lettuce mix
                    Lunch: 1 cup of Broccoli with a chicken breast with cheddar cheese
                    Dinner: Scrambled eggs with a small avacado sliced up and three and a half slices of bacon (pre-made just have to microwave!) and salsa for the eggs.

                    I know...wooo...full day huh? I don't usually snack because I don't have time. I was on the run this morning doing a lot of errands. So yeah, the meals I have are getting better. I'm feeling better..I just have to pace myself here.

                    Tomorrow is going to be hard--my ex-husband is coming to Texas to visit my son. I have been dreading him coming to visit for a while now. Of course, it will be funny to see how reacts to my weight loss. The last time he saw me I was at 215!

                    Yay? No hehe

                      Good morning everyone.

                      My morning is starting out rough. DH forgot to set the alarm. So I overslept. Then I went to finish putting my lunch together to see that DH prepared a pitiful salad with 1.5 c. romaine, 5 thin slices of pepperoni and literally a spoonful of cheddar cheese crumbles. I didn't have time, so I grabbed a handful of pepperoni and a chunk of cheese and threw it in my lunchbox.

                      When I got to work, I bought an overpriced liter of water. While at my desk, I realized that I didn't have breakfast. My breakfast was still in the freezer at home!! I forgot to heat it up and bring it with me, and I didn't want to get anything from the caf. I had an Atkins bar here. So that became my breakfast.

                      I don't have a snack for this morning or this afternoon. I feel really anxious because I had a routine going where I split up my meals and whatnot during the day. Now, I feel lost. Weird, eh?

                      Sorry for venting. I hope your morning is going better than mine.

                        Hi everyone! Elsie, hello and thank you!
                        I'm sad. I was enrolled in the 6 weeks challange with 7 days/week exercising. But yesterday I was kind of down. I only did 100 abs, some cleaning in the garden, going to work and eating like a caveman in the evening. And for me, eating in the evening (no matter what) makes me gain! So, the result of my yesterday is that I gained 1lbs and I've been desqualified from the 6 weeks challenge. I can continue, but no matter what I will do, I will not even have the right of a slug free button.
                        So, now I'm down and in PMS.

                          Caramella, sorry you're having a rough morning. Just remember not to let it affect the rest of your whole day and bring you down -- turn it into a positive. At least that part is over with and you have the rest of the day to look forward to.

                          Hi to all the new buddies!!

                          Just checking in this morning as I didn't at all yesterday. I was extremely busy at work and when I got home as well. Official move-in is Saturday for me, so I had to pack up everything last night and will be loading up the Uhaul tommorow night. Eating has been fine and on-track! Hoping to see another few lbs gone by Saturday as last time I weighed was Sunday (well, again on Tuesday and it was the same - almost got me down but at least I hadnt gained AND it had only been 2 days lol) Oh and the good news is even that my weight had stayed the same and I only lost 3lbs... *hoping I am one of the people that loses a lot towards end of 14-day induction? otherwise I'm near convinced I have a metabolic resistance* that I lost 3/4 inch off my upper arm, more than 1 inch off thighs, about 1 inch off belly (which is where I REALLY need/want it to come off :/), etc.
                          So I won't hesitate no more, no more
                          It cannot wait I'm sure

                            You said you did 100 abs yesterday? Well that counts as exercise. So why would you be disqualified?

                              Monie...how ya doing girl? Just noticed that you are over half way to your goal! How exciting. What the heck happened to "I'm not going to join as many challenges?"

                              Robin...glad your issue has improved. Good luck with Ex-hubby.

                              Carmella...Good luck with your day..I hate it when I have a routine going and it gets messed up. Stay strong. If you go to the cafeteria stay legal! You can do this!!

                              Vek...are you disqualified because you didn't exercise enough or because you gained a pound? How does the challenge work?
