I use virgin coconut oil for anything sweet, such as in flax muffins or any baked SF goodies. It's absolutely fabulous in a chocolate protein shake. There's no need to eat it off a spoon, or cook eggs in it.
For everyday cooking of meat, for example, I use only the LouAnna brand I find at WalMart. It's been deodorized, but is still a stable, flavorless fat that's a healthier alternative to vegetable oils or Crisco!

... that's okay, that means more coconut oil for the rest of us! Oh ... I just saw your other post: The stuff I use is a semi-solid; I don't think it really matters which one you use ... it's all good
