when I'm dying for nachos, I bake cheese in the oven until it's crispy (either pinches of grated cheese or small squares of it to make individual chips) and have it with salsa, sour cream & jalapenos. it's like the best part of nachos with NO chips!
skillet pizza is turning into a lifesaver. it's so good, and so easy.
I made the effort to get unusual ingredients for cake, and it's been totally worth it! now when I bring one of my low-carb cakes to family dinners (because I want dessert, hahaha!), they get eaten before all of the sugary, carb laden ones! and this includes kids.
every once in awhile I crave chicken strips, I'm not one for deep frying though. otherwise I'd just make them with cheese, nut, or pork rind coatings.
i think I've managed to get over most of the stuff I was missing. just like a bad ex.
