    hey all buddies

    glad you joined the thread laura, i find this thread really helpful in keeping my on track

    not much to report here except i had my weekly weigh in and havent lost anything its kind of sad but im trying to stay on the positive and at least i have put on any weight

        hello everyone!!!

        just a msg for whatsername. umm i think creme fraiche is sour cream.

        also i dont know if anyone could answer this but i havent opend my bowels for 2 days should i take the psyllium husks?? xxx


        First Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 11st12lbs
        Second Mini Goal: Loose 12lbs = 11st0lbs
        Third Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 10st 4lbs
        Fourth Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 9st 8lbs

          Hi! Yep, take psyllium ... you don't want constipation if you can avoid it! You eating enough leafy greens? And drink plenty of water ... but you already knew that

            hows todays menu

            Day Two - Mon

            Breakfast

            Linda’s recipe – ham and cheese quiche (2g net carbs)

            Lunch

            1 cup of salad – lettuce, mushrooms, cucumber (3.5 net carbs)
            2 0z cheese (5.6g net carbs)
            1 chicken breast
            =9.1g

            Dinner

            2 pieces of bacon (0 net carbs)
            Mini avocado
            2 tablespoons sour cream (0.8 net carbs)
            4oz Green beans
            2 boiled egg (1.2 net carbs)


            Snacks

            3 tablespoons double cream
            Can diet coke

            some of the carbs im unsure of

                Looks pretty good Avocado is great ... rich in healthy fats and fiber! Not to mention, delicious. Some people find diet drinks stall their weight loss, but they don't bother everyone, so it's a try-it-and-see thing. You could eat more salad at lunch, especially the leafy stuff.

                  Sorry I have not been around the past few days. I have been busy with work, family, kids and home stuff.

                  I'm actually on my way out the door to work here in a few, but thought I should pop in and let you all know I'm still alive and well.

                  I see there are some new buddies. Welcome to our humble abode I look forward to getting to know you all.

                  My week went ok considering I had two cheats in it. I had cereal one morning and then the next day I had 2 samosa's. Argh.. anyways.. today I weighed in and I'm still 172lbs. Thank god for miracles and lots of water!!

                  My Aunt had her surgery and she came through with flying colours. Dh and I went to see her lastnight. She looks pretty good for just having had heart surgery. She was up walking around even! WOW..

                  I must run.. but will be back soon. I have Wednesday off, so I maybe able to get on here at some point lol.

                    glad you are alive and well sassy thought you were busy with work cos last time you mentioned your promotion and all that training. so happy that your aunt is making a quick recovery.

                    ok i confess that i have not done a proper 14 day induction but have not eaten any major carbs for over a month now. but my weight loss is bouncing up and down a lb or two for the last week. so from today im going to be really strict with myself and for the next 14 days am not eating anything not on the induction friendly list. i know i was a atkins cheat but only slightly. (dont kill me) lol. i know this can work but its the first few steps which are the hardest part for me.

                    can i just ask, if i did this diet 100% to the letter would i definitely lose weight? im not saying all my weight in a quick time, but lets say i did it for a year theres no chance i would put on eating this way right?

                        Hi buddies hope yor all ok smiling today on the 16th of june.I weighed in today oh well im still the same kind of used to the weight loss slowing down thats why i did some exercise testerday and im paying more attention to what im eating so hopefully will lose some more.

                        Hi SASSY glad your aunts op went well i hope she recovers well and is fit and healthy again.Oh no you cheated oh its ok we all do at a stage but thank god the scales didn't show it your lucky for that but remember you worked so har and once the taste buds get those carbs you might get tempted again so please my friend don't do it again!

                              i know i shouldnt of drunk the diet coke sham, but loads of people said they had thats why i tried it, do u think thats why i have gained 2lbs?

                                It might be laura, can you survive without it? try it for afew days without the fizzy drinks and just stick to water.
