Hi! Are you on induction? If so, I don't think you should be eating flaxseed bread as we are allowed one tbsp of flax for digestion a day only. I sometimes sprinkle a tsp or so on my LC porridge (eggs and cream cheese basically),but I stay within limits.
As far as other mock food, especially the bars, I would advise against. It's best to eat real food, especially when you are just starting out. It seems you may stall easily so you don't want to sabotage your progress.
Furthermore, just because we are on an Atkins diet does not mean 'treats' cease to be so. Just like we are supposed to have treats sparingly in the standard American diet, we should also be sparing with bars and other desserts. This has been my low carb demise in the past. Treats are for special occasions...food is for everyday.
What does everyone think of the shirataki noodles on Atkins? I think they're ok once in a while.....
