          oh boy there's a whole lot of veggies going down, here, this week isn't there! lol
          Tuesday I got 19g net in and Wednesday was 21g net

                HI! I haven't been posting my dates so here they are

                April 23 - 17 net grams
                April 24 - 17 net grams
                April 25 - 18 net grams ( my yesterday )

                Thank goodness for jicama or I wouldn't have made it yesterday. My 8yo DD got hooked on it, also.

                Has this happened to anyone else...I'm getting my net veggie carbs in but my daily calories are way down.Too low actually ( about 1000 calories/day) So is my protein and fat intake because I'm just not hungry.

                Well, let see how I do today. I'm stocked with plenty of veggies now!!

                    i've also found that upping veggies had lowered calories. i've seen this on my fitday for a long time but it really reinforced things during the practice week i did last week. i have a higher calorie count than 1000 but i'm still much lower than i was say, 6 months ago.

                      Thanks for the post "Jimmie". I'm using this challenge to force me to find a new, and even healthier, balance in my life. Lower calories is ok but today I'm shooting for at least 1200. With the veggie carbs, of course!!

                        Hey everyone,

                        Induction Extended Veggie Officer reporting to base.

                        Monday - 12.5 net carbs
                        Tuesday - 14 net carbs
                        Wednesday 14 net carbs (ate same food as Tuesday)
                        Thursday - still counting

                        this is thougher than i expected but i'm doing it and it has helped me lots with my overall daily carbs.

                        Lettuce i love you to bits, tomatoes i hate you with a passion but i'm digesting you well, onions you bring tears to my eyes, Mushrooms you are my inspiration, Cauliflower & broccoli you fill me up nicely, Brussel Sprouts, i wonder who gave you that name and last but not least Viva for avocado's and cucumbers you helped round everything up.

                        FINALLY I CAN SCREAM IT OUT LOAD ........TOM IS TOWN!! after 18 dys of wondering!! Where the h e l l where you? taking it easy I SEE!!

                              I can imagine, but hey you guys are experts compare to some of us, I'm green as a cabbage LOL actually thank you both for this challenge, i have never eaten so many veggies in my life, but i am surely making up for it.

                              Lets all show this silly old veggie man that we'll shred his carrots, which are high in GI and happily trade it for a Cauliflower......Whioooooooooooo!!

                                Thanks for this awesome challenge Silly and Jimmie! It's really enlightening... and I'm actually having reasonable portions of higher carb veggies that I've been scared to eat until now. Like... I never had more than say, a tablespoon of beans before now, but today I ate a decent sized tuna & bean salad (still heavier on the tuna, of course).

                                My veggie carbs are 27 for today (Thursday).
