      Sillygirl, no I had the ones with just cream and butter. Oh yuck!! I might try the ones with cheese in it...if I get my nerve up. LOL!!

          My net carbs for the day was 20: red bell peppers, green beans, a few onions, zucchini, cauliflower, and a couple of grape tomatoes. It's been a great week!
          HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7

            VEGGI CHALLENGE FINAL DAY - (12-15G CARBS)

            Yay I did it! 13net veg carbs today. Plus I tried the turnip fries whch weren't too bad. This challenge was definitely a good experience. Thanks sillygirl.

                22 net carbs for me today

                1/3 cup jicama
                1 whole fl. avocado
                .5 cup of eggplant
                .5 cup of cabbage
                .4 cup of tomato

                I at least tried 2 new veggies and found that i liked eggplant, but not spag. squash. I cooked the chayote, but it was too sweet and i was afraid i bought the wrong thing, so i tossed it...YIKES

                    12 carbs for me today and I tried Brussel sprouts. They were okay but not something I would make again. I'm stuck on the stir fry and fried cabbage and onions. Today I had the sprouts, broccoli, green peppers and onions. Plus a small side salad from Wendys.

                      23 net carbs from veggies for me today. Thanks so much Silly and Jimmie! Ya'll are great!

                      Had spinach, okra-twice-seem to be a bit obsessed with that--spinach, tomatoes and tomato juice with my iron pill because my doctor said so.

                      My new veggie was cauliflower, I also actually cooked mushrooms, hadn't done that before. Will be happy to fix more things with cauliflower and learned I can add veggies to breakfast. I enjoyed reading everyone's experiences and recipes and will continue to experiment. I'm glad I did this because I've been in a bit of a rut with my eating and this is helping me try new things again. It's getting me in the mode of planning for Thanksgiving (legally, of course). There are a couple of more low-carb people in my family this year, so hopefully I can fix some things that we can share and start new traditions.

                          I logged 26 g carbs yesterday from: Lettuce, tomatoes (cherry), fennel, white eggplant, basil, onion, garlic, cauliflower.

                          Tried the white eggplant today but frankly, I couldn't taste any difference from the normal variety. Had been told it had a more delicate flavour, but I didn't notice that. Was good though.

                          Thanks Silly for running this fun and healthy challenge! It's been great.

                            Didn't do so hot today for my final day. Only 18 net carbs (because I skipped lunch). Ahh well. 17 grams fiber.

                              First of all I have to say a BIG Thank-you for this cahllenge it has opened my eyes to the fact that I need to definitly focus on eating more veggies always and that it's ok to try new things as well! I have really enjoyed this challenge!

                              Here's my totals for the week:
