Re: 2007 Read The Book Challenge
Well, I finished Part II and did my homework today!
For me, this part is about changing our lives for the better. Time and again we read about how it's the sugar/carbs that harms our health. We know this stuff in our heads, and yet it's a completely different thing to practice not eatting it in real life.
It's about finding out what our triggers are and learning new ways to deal with them. It's about enjoying life and food, even at restaurants or at friend's homes. It's really about understanding this WOE, instead of falling prey to all of the myths out there.
I hope everyone in this group read pages 215/216 about why we need to move past induction sooner rather than later. I'm a guilty party who stayed in induction far too long. If I only knew then what I do know now, right?
Personally, I'm very proud to be eating this WOE. I feel good, I think I look pretty good too!
