          Re: 20/24 Challenge #3

          Absolutely!!

I will do 30-60 minutes of cardio dance/aerobics a day ( i say 30-60 mins cause you don't start burning calories for 20 minutes)...If it wasn't so cold and slick out I would be up to attempting to walk. Sometimes my back will knot up really bad in the lower region and makes it impossible to move .

Anyway, I will accept your challenge and make sure I do at least 20mins.

I will be working out to these videos: (these are the descriptions from the website I saw selling them) I got them from my library.

          1) Crunch: Cardio Salsa - DESCRIPTION: Sensuous, non-stop Latin dance moves energized by a motivating, on-stage drummer. You'll burn fat as you move to a fast-paced variety of different Latin steps - from classic merengue to "salsa funk." Giselle Roque de Escobar who co-taught the "Zumba" videos, makes it surprisingly easy to follow with her clear cuing and consistent breakdown of each combo. You'll begin with the basics, then add arms, maybe some turns, a few tempo variations and finally some sexy hip movements

          2) Crunch: Cardio Dance Blast! - DESCRIPTION: Six easy-to-follow dance combos led by a very high-energy instructor. This hip shakin' cardio party is sure to have you burning fat and having fun. Even the "rhythmically challenged" can do this workout - the steps are taught at half-tempo, linked together and finally blended into full sequence.

          3) Crunch: Boot Camp Training - DESCRIPTION: Well-sequenced routines that uniquely combine resistance, control and position variations for maximum body-shaping. In just 30 minutes you'll get a thorough, total-body toning workout (you also get a little cardio benefit during some faster-paced sets). Each movement is designed to build on the previous one. E.g. you'll start with basic squats, add some overhead presses and then increase that combo's intensity by coming up from the squats as you do the overhead presses.

Restart: DEC. 16th, 2009 (why wait for Christmas)

          Mini Goals:

          MAIN GOAL :

Count me in. This will be my first time doing a challenge and I want to do it! I will do at least 20 minutes of walking (depending on weather) or treadmill (if weather is poor). I walked yesterday and just did the treadmill today - off to a good start for practice.

You can count me in! I'll do 20 minutes of treadmill and probably another 20 on the wii with leg and wrist weights (which I love and is working very well for me).

                thanks
