      Okay now, to clarify things so I don't mess up....we are weighing and posting that weight on Saturday? I'm on just my second day of the Induction and I started ketosis last night, light pink, and tonight I'm in DARK pink! My poor sister takes a whole week to get into ketosis.

          O.k I'm in. I think this is going to be harder that eating no CARBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Down 10 lbs so far...
          Hello to all... Lets see ,I started this on Monday 08/19/08. My start weight was 160lbs. I have been on a week today and have lost 6lbs. My goal weight would be 120-125.I am 5'2 pretty short. So, the weight looks double.Well until next time.

            This is such a great idea. I'm so excited about this. It's the perfect motivation I need to stop weighing myself everyday. I feel like I can listen to you guys better than the little voice in my head that tells me not to.

            Should I get some ketostix, though? Without a scale, I'm going to feel like I'm winging it.

              i have some catching up to do in here! welcome to all the new challengers!

              as per some of the questions.... refer to the calendar. it shows exactly what days you can weigh and what days not to weigh.

              as far as ketositx..... if you want to use them, it's fine with me. you should be able to tell pretty much that you are on track because of the breath, the taste in your mouth, the lack of craving and the energy you have/or will have. i read this morning that lisadallas likes to see the color change. i'll admit to that too. so if you want to use them just to see the color change, then who i am to stand in the way.


              now, as a moderator function and to test some of my ability since the upgrade, i'm going to attempt to split the posts that are chat about the ticker and leave the rest of the posts here. but first i'll get names put on my spreadsheet just in case.

                btw, i am not concerned with weight at all. you don't need to post it, it's not asked for. posting weight is entirely up to you. what i do want posted is ............
                did you stay off the scale sunday thru friday of week one
                did you stay off the scale sunday thru friday of week two.

                remember, dr excuses are just that, an excuse and if you have an appointment and they weigh you are okay.

                          ok, I'm in along with my Atkins Buddy who already signed up, msuchio! Oh how hard this is going to be for me because I've just started OWL TODAY and I am OBSESSED with weighing daily just like my husband. But he's steadily losing and I've been going back and forth with this one stupid pound for a week or so now (which is why I moved on to OWL from Extended Induction).

                          So I vow not to look! I'm jumping in. Now I have to back and look at the chart to put those dates on my calendar. I need to really focus on the OWL rules anyway and not the scale!
