    susan, yes you can weigh any time you wish up to and including the 6th. you can weigh again on the 13th and then on the 20th.

        you're in good company, summersong. i could guess that all of us have been the 2 or 3 or more times a day catagory at one time or another.

                Okay all, in a nutshell are we just seeing who can lose the most weight in 2 weeks and the winner gets a trip to Spain? Right?

                  Lately I use a scale about once a year,
                  but when the kilos were falling off, it was 3 times per day! (about 4 years ago)
                  And when they were piling on it was too terrifying to see it go over 100kgs,

                  When I asked my weight, I used to say : 'one hundred and mumble'

                    I would spend my energy closely logging fat and carb grams and exercise rather than panic over whether you've entered ketosis or not. Follow the book and log your eating and exercise. Let the pounds take care of themselves.

                      But if I'm not in ketosis, I don't lose weight...plain and simple. I've been doing this since the 70's and I know what has to be.

                          yeah, i could agree with this. we, alot of us, get kinda hung up on things and yes, we panic. i bought the t shirt for that journey.

                          but, as per marilyns post................

                          i can say with much confidence that if the use of ketostix encourages and confims, then use them. don't make it an addiction but use them as a tool. i feel this way with fitday and the percentages, too. they are tools. the scale and the tape measure are tools. not everyone uses them. some simply rely on how the clothes fit. tight clothes turning into loose clothes is their confirmation.

                          so, who's next to join this ever growing group?
