      I am still at 199 but I am going to start to start walking tomorrow. I have to admit that i have not done any form of excersice yet. So by next week I should see a drop.

      I know the inches are going down because I have put away most of my 18's in storage and I am happy to say 16's are now in my closet!!!!!!!

              Just pick a weight that you would like to be at by Dec. 31, 2005 and try to achieve it. Add the following to your signature and keep it updated as you lose weight.

                I am sick today, so I'll be here only for a few. I want to say how proud I am of all of you, and how excited I am to see you working towards your goals!

                {{{{Wannabethintoo}}} Thank you so much for your enthusism! I love the no-cheat challenge, too! Had I the foredight, I would have combined this challenge with that one-- however, since I didn't think of it at the time, I didn't feel it would be right to impose even more strict rules!

                But I totally agree-- the different challenges are extremely helpful for me, too! I can't wait to hop back into the 6-week exercise challenge with skyye's group!

                Good luck in Brook's challenge, too! My attitude is, if it helps, go for it! I know the challenges help keep me accountable.

                BTW, only WOOT on your weight loss for the week! OMG! You are rocking this challenge, girl!

                {{{Ajakol}}} Woohoo! You are shrinking! It is a good thing you are keeping your measurements! That makes a huge difference, even when the scale isn't moving as well as it should! I am proud of your success! Fitting into a smaller size is a great reward!

                {{{twg}}} Welcome! wannabe is right on. The jist of this challenge is to live as cleanly on Atkins as you can, to pick a goal for New Year's, and to chieve that goal! I came up with this challenge last year, when, in July, I weighed 325 pounds and was thinking about what a depressing time the holidays would be as a really overweight person. I made a pledge to myself that I was going to have something to celebrate come the New Year's! I lost my first 100 pounds in 7 months! I was definitely celebrating that loss! So pick your goal, sock it to me and update us every Monday! We meet more regularly than this, and we're just gearing up!

                        Back up to 155.5 lbs this week. But its ok - I'm trying to find my CCLL, so I was expecting it eventually. This week I'm gonna bounce back down 5 grams, and see if it gets the weight loss moving again.

                          {{{{{rybread}}}}} Finding the CCLL is tricky! It could also be water weight gain and/or your soon-to-be whooshie. Have you taken your measurements lately?

                            Alas, this gradual slow down to a crawl has been coming for a few weeks now. I've seen 155 lbs about 4 times - at this point, I would kill to see 154.5

                            I've been 'experimenting' - staying at my current carb level, but watching the calories. [Gained .5 lbs doing that!] Experimenting with the foods I've added since starting OWL to see if they were stalling me. [Learned that I had to keep dairy to induction levels through that.] Now I think it just may plain be the carb level, which makes me kinda sad, because 30 grams isn't a lot! I'm hoping as I start to ramp up my exercise again, that I'll be able to venture higher than that again.

                            And you bet I take my measurements! Every month, on my Atkins 'anniversary,' I take new comparison photos, and get DH to take my measurements. Its definitely a huge motivator - especially the pictures, because boy, at the time, I had no idea that I looked that bad. And I don't want to look like that again.

                            Anywho, time to chug the last of my 2.2 litre bottle before heading home for the day.

                              rybread! You are amazing! That you are taking your time to find out what your body can and cannot tolerate is such an awesome thing! And you get to eat berries! If I didn't love you so much I'd be so jealous that I'd wish your eyelashes would fall out.

                              Good on you for the water consumption too!

                              Ihave a before picture of me that I look at once per day. It is PAINFUL!!!!! OMG. It is painful. I agree with you-- it's such a motivvator! Well, you're motivating me, so I'm going to put my shoes on!

                                OK I am in! My starting weight was 281. My current weight is 213. I would like to lose 30 pounds by New Years, so goal weight is 183. I will give it my best shot! You all are so encouraging and motivating! Thanks for the support!
