    ROFL!!!! Ok I just got up and went downstairs and saw something that I had to post for you guys. Last night I set a pack of 3 steaks out to thaw, and when I went down there......LMAO one was on the rug infront of the sink (half eaten) the other was in the laundry basket, the other was under the kitchen table. all nibbled on, usually i'd be extremely pissed off because it was an expensive pack of steaks but my kitties looked so cute, i couldnt yell at them. (I have 3 cats) My old cat ashley is the one who ALWAYS sleeps in the laundry basket so I know that one was 'hers', and the other 2 both are in spots where the other two, call their hide-out spots, lol thats so funny.

    Steaks all over the kitchen.....oh geez, now I gotta clean! too funny though....

      Speedy- I feel ya! My stinkin cute little BOOGERS, I have 4 cats and I cannot leave anything out! Even when we cook dinner one of us has to stay in the kitchen. If I have to go to anohter area of the house while I am cooking I have to get BF to come into the kitchen and watch the pots!!! Kinda scary cause I don't want them to get hurt ya know? Yesterday I accidentally left a cupboard door open and came into the kitchen and there was one of my sweet innocent kitties looking up at me in front of a ripped to shredds bread bag... bread nibbled on all over and some around the kitchen!! grrr.... but he looked at me like, "what are you looking at, I didn't do this!"

      OK- enough about my babies...

      eating an omlet right now
      2 eggs, 1ounce canadian bacon, 1 ounce tomatoes with green chilis, 3 mushrooms, and .75 provolone cheese. Very yummy!
      did TJ20 this morning, now gotta finish eating and get a shower! Long day ahead of me!!!!!

        Hey everyone I'm feeling better and it snowed here last night AHHHHHH. Oh, well I guess I should have taken in all the stuff from outside and put it away my lawn mower is still out there for gosh sakes all covered in snow mind you now.

        I just wanted to pop in this morning and tell ya I am feeling better I'm gunna try eating somehting here and see how it goes wish me luck.

            I know this is all I talk about but I HAVE TO TELL YOU GUYS, I posted yesterday that the crapola hit the fan at work so i went home @ 10am. Well i come in this morning and I get called into the office........and my supervisor has the nerve to hand me a EAP card (employee assistant program) COUSELING!!! and his reasoning was "i know work cant stress you out that much" So once again i tried to explain myself and was shot down....LMAO this is so hilarious to me that they think im nuts because of what these old bags are putting me through. This is a great life that I live.......oh lordy

              Hello all I didn't wake up as early as I had hoped but still early enough to get my xcercise in, 3 miles this morning again, woohoo! I feel great. Rikki your omelet is making my mouth drool, all I had this morning for breakfast was bacon, but it was 3 pieces so I'm good for a while. I brought tuna salad with me and will buy a salad from the wendy's on campus also. So I'll get some veges in too. I remembered to bring my huge bottle of water to work with me today so water won't be a problem and the thing I'm most proud of is I took my supplements just now. So far so good, the day is turning out lovely.

              Sarah - I'm glad your feeling better, be careful with your tummy. How is it feeling after breakfast?

              Speedy - LOL, your cats sound hilarious, but I can see how it could be a big pain in the butt. Hope you get some more steaks tonite for dinner. Hoper your feeling better, I hear that light excercise is good for cramps so maybe a little walking, nothing too crazy, especially on the first day. I know how that feels, yuck!

              Hey Slim, how are you doing today, what are your plans for the day?

              JuJu - where you at girly? I know your doing great but we want to hear from you. Red Rover, Red Rover, let JuJu come over ... and get tapped in to this superific energy that is flowing through this challenge.

              Ok, so I bought some Atkins breakfast bars on clearance at the grocery store. It says on the back that it is safe for induction phase, and only has 3 net carbs. What do you guys think, should I have them? Normally I would say no, but I like having something at work that I can snack on, especially on days like today when I didn't have a big breakfast. What do you think?

                OH, I hope that place gives you lots of money And you can get your but outa there WOOOHOOO!!!!! You don't need this crap that's rediculous Ya, I've gotten that Just cause I said somehting I needed counselling and so you say nothing and need counselling and to top it off try to tell them whats wrong and they shoot ya down what BULLCRAPOLA. Man what a close mined place it's any wonder they keep any employees at all.

                    Yoly you know what I think of those BARS BAD BAD, but for emergency I would say keep them at work and have them for just in case other wise don't eat them at all. They have sooo many fillers and additives and stuff and with you having slow weight loss I can almost bet they would stall you.

                    The Atkins sight endorses these little dollups to make a profit knowing full well the True Dr. A never ever endorsed the use of supplemental bars and shakes he wanted to make people healthy. now that the good Doc is gone the line has gone out of control and endorses it's shakes and bars like slimfast. Not good if you can get whole food and not ahve then then great if you are in a pinch stuck giver but be ware of the farts and nastie crappers you get after you eat those babies MALITOL is BAD!!

                      Awwww, that pic of you guys is great, your family is beautiful.

                      Speedy, your job totally sucks, I'm sorry you have to put up with it, Thank goodness it won't be for much longer though.

                      Thanks Sarah, these bars don't have malitol in them, they are breakfast bars, with soy granola and dehydrated fruit. It has glycerin in it so I'm not sure if that's the same thing or not. I had a week ago and didn't notice any adverse affects. Thanks for the tips though, I will keep them in mind and not buy any more. There are only 4 in the box and one of them already got eaten so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll keep them on hand in case of emergencies.

                          OOh I wanna join this challenge.I'm a lazy bastard and I need to start exercising and stop making excuses but I don't want to join any exercise threads cause they are too hard-core.My goal is to exercise for at least a half an hour three time a week(to start),and to lose 15pounds by the end of this challenge(when is the end of it?).So I'll list my goals:

                          1)Work out 30min 3X a week
                          2)Lose 15pounds by end of challenge
                          3)Strict Strict Induction no excuses

                          Ok I think that's it for now
                          I CAN RESIST EVERYTHING AND TEMPTATION.

                            Welcome! We would love to have you on board. This challenge will last until the end of the year, we ask that you seriously commit to excercise and not weigh in until the end of the challenge. Also no cheating! We are all here together to help each other during this difficult road and we could always use a new cheerleader, welcome!

                            Let me give you some background. This challenge was started a few months back by Sarah and myself. We needed a way to drop the things that we felt were holding us back. We brainstormed and came up with 4 things we needed to focus on for our continued success. Thus ICES was born. LOL.

                            I = Induction
                            C = Cream (no cream)
                            E = Excercise (no excuses)
                            S = Scale (no weighing in)

                            As the months have gone by we have gotten more and more people here and so everyone has kind of made ICES stand for the things that they need to work on. If you find that there is something in your diet that you are having a hard time with and would like to drop this is the challenge for you. If you want to excercise and need a motivating group to get you out there and working this is the place. If you need a great group of people who hold you up when you are down, give you a shoulder to cry on, and cheer you on in your successes then welcome to ICES.

                              Sarah, that pic is sooo cute!!! I love it...

                              Does anyone here eat chicken broth? This morning I didnt have time to make anything so I grabbed one cheese stick and ate it on the way b\c i didnt eat dinner last night. So im sitting here starving, waiting for my lunch break but i already had 1 cube of it, about 2 cups made. It says less than 1 carb and same with sugars. I know its not the best thing in the world but im hungry and it fills me up. Just wondering what ya'll think about it.....I thinking about having some more. It makes my soar throat feel so much better too. thanks guys!!

                                I eat chicken broth when I'm not feeling so good. I know what you mean about it making your sore throat feel better and I say go for it. Yours has sugar? I'm not sure if mine had sugar but i think it is such a small amount and your feeling under the weather you need to get whatever will make you feel better in your system. Just watch out because sometimes it has a lot of sodium, so make sure to drink your water.
