Sounds like a busy day Steph. Mine is gonna be busy too.

Gotta go to town for a small shop. Afterschool DD ( has violin lessons in the next town...then we have to drive fast to get back to our town as there is a skating windup (I have to bring a dessert for 12 people..am going to cheat and pick up some butter tarts for them) and DD doesn't know it yet but she is getting an award. I think it will be for most improved as she earned 12 badges this season. It will be interesting to see how her brother(9) handles this as he will not be getting an award. By then it will be past their bed time. So home and get them into bed and then I can have my supper. I will have something to eat just before they come home afterschool. And will have some cheese on the way to the award ceremonies and that should tie me over. Yeesh...I'm tired just thinking about it. Have a great day everyone...drink your water.

I had another good day 20 cups plus of water. Made some stuffed peppers tonight. They were good..cheesy..I think I would have liked a little ceyanne or old bay seasoning in them though. If you are on induction I would count the 1/2 green pepper as my 1 c other vegie. JMO. Night all.

        MAKE ME STUFFED PEPPERS
2 large green peppers, halved lengthwise, 6 ounces each
        1 pound ground beef
        1/4 cup onion, chopped, 1 1/4 ounces
        1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato, chopped, about 2 ounces
        Salt and pepper, to taste
        4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded, for topping

In a large pot, bring about half potful of water to boil. Add the peppers and boil for 3 minutes. Drain. In same pot, brown the hamburger, onion and garlic. Drain fat and stir in tomatoes and seasonings. Cook until tomatoes are hot; remove from heat and stir in the 4 ounces cheese. Put the pepper halves in a greased 8x8" baking pan and fill with meat mixture. Sprinkle the extra cheese on top, if using. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

        Makes 4 servings
Can be frozen Per Serving: 388 Calories; 27g Fat; 30g Protein; 6g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs
        OH My Goodness!!!!

Where's the scratch and sniff button?????

Thank you for sharing this with us! I'm so hungry for meat. lol

I'm here, but I'm not. lol. School has me living all over the place.

Thanks Erin for checkin in on me!

Swimming is my exercise for today. I'm warn out.

        take care all!

        keep drinking...............water, of course!

          Hey everyone,
I'm back at it. My computer was down for a very long time, so, my diet was too. I sort of tried WW, and that's just not enough food for me, and i'm REALLY excited and motivated to drop to my goal by Mother's Day. And also for bathing suit season. I've been working out 6xs a week with cardio and weights, and do pretty well during the day and then, boom. I'm eating jelly beans with my kids after dinner!?! WHY@!?? So........now that i'm joining this group, there's no excuse, and i'm in it for LIFE...I have such a sweet tooth so it is hard to get started, but once i lose my cravings, sweets just don't sound too good to me, other than that monthy chocolate cravinngs...So, i'm really looking forward to this, and please let me know what i need to do in order to keep up. Thank you very much.

                    Hi guys,

just posted this on the induction part of the board:

"just did my first weigh in after one week and have been shocked at a loss of 3kg (6.6lbs) & 12 cms (4.7 inches) all over - despite dramas of being on prednisone for an allergic reaction.

I know it is mainly water - but wow. Here's to keeping going!"

Am getting hungrier with the steroids & did eat more yesterday, but kept it legal (just - phew!!!)

Good on you ladies keeping up with the exercise & the recipes are wonderful Elsie!

Like you all, I am drinking, drinking...drowning in water!!
                    Have a great evening!

I bought a treadmill!! Today!! At lunch!! It's used, but refurbished, and I got for $200! Woo-hoo! No more walking in the rain, like I did yesterday!

I'm looking forward to going home, rearranging my bedroom, and putting that bad boy in its proper place - in front of the window so I can watch the birds!!

Food has been good today. Those stuffed peppers look fantastic! I will have to make those -- soon!

Water is also good today - 80 oz so far - probably 100 oz by the end of the day.

                      Can't wait to go home!!!!!!

                      Big love,

Good on you Stacy! We got one around Christmas which has been so useful - especially when you can watch Tv or a movie-I get bored senseless doing cardio otherwise!

                          Congrats catestar! That's awesome news!!!

I didn't weigh today and probably won't tomorrow. I will wait until Friday to weigh in. I am starting to enjoy waiting a little bit. The lose is more significant sometimes and it feels great to see a bunch gone at once. I think maybe Fridays will be my official weigh in day, but I'm not sure yet.

I had the longest most eventful day today. I spilled my guts in my journal..too much writing to re-type....LOL

Have a GREAT night everyone. I am off to take a shower and watch American Idol, then crawl into a ball and sleep my cares away.

                          Goodnight everyone.

glad to hear your booty pain is gone.

LisaM...way to go on the swimming! Yes..I love her site. You do have to be careful with some of her induction menus though. Her salad has sunflower seeds on it...which is not acceptable.

Welcome wonderwoman! All you need to do is check in and lend and get support daily if possible or when you can.

catestar...WEIGH to go on the 6.6 pounds. How exciting. Remember...just in case you drop only a small amount of weight next week that it won't be water weight...that your body is adjusting and it is actual weight lost and so will the 6.6 from this week.

Stacy....that is exciting! Let us know how your first session goes.

Steph...don't forget the copy and paste button when you don't want to retype. But glad the insurance thing worked out.

Another good day for me. Weigh day tomorrow. I know it will be up...but hopefully not too much. Until tomorrow.....
