    bjs--I haven't ever seen the Si6 videos in any store. I ordered my online. They are kinda pricey, but they are good videos. I'm doing weight training and HIIT cardio with AMAZING results. I got bored with the videos because it was the same thing day in day out, and I get bored easily.

    Silly, you're right, it is about the CHOICES. I feel so good about myself for making the right ones.

    Kittie--when you order just flat out tell them you don't want the fries. I do that at every restaurant I go to. Sometimes they'll say would you like the vegetable or salad instead? Of course, i say yes LOL If you do get the fries, pour your diet soda on them so you won't be tempted to eat them!!! Wings are great, just ask to make sure they aren't breaded otherwise they are just chicken, butter and hot sauce. Make sure you eat your 3 cups of vegetables per day, its sooooooooooo important. The water is definitely a MUST as well. If you dont eat the veggies or drink the water, you are going to be in BIG trouble in the bathroom department pretty quick!! The tiredness is your body adjusting to the low carb lifestyle...it will pass and in a few days you'll have more energy than you've ever had before. Congratulations on passing over the starburst!!

      Hi bjs...wow, you're one busy lady! I hope you can chill some tomorrow.

      Kittie, you've done really, really well ('cept the water part!). Each time you avoid temptation, or just have willpower, you overcome that slowly but surely and soon it will be NORMAL to not want that in the first place!

        I think it was STARBURST silly, the fruit chews...

        Yeh-- today was busy--- too busy.. Tomorrow is workout video, walk, rest...I have a client at 630 tomorrow evening. Then I have the rest of the week off. We are burying my grandfathr Monday on Memorial Day. So, Friday I am shopping with my aunts for food, and cooking all weekend. We are havig a gathering at my house after graveside for refreshments. My aunts are to upset to do it, so I took it all on. It is what keeps me going... So, tomorrow I am going to rest in anticipation of the busy weekend. Friday I have a field trip with my son, then food shopping..YIKES...

        I need to slow down, or my MS is going to get me!!! Times like this, it likes to flare...

        The weather has been so nice tho-- after soo much rain, I jsut want to get out and Carpe Diem!!

          bjs, be sure to take care of yourself too while you are taking care of everyone else. My best friend has MS, along with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol...I've been trying to get her on Atkins. She tried a little while back but fell off the wagon. What's you experience been so far??

                  Hi everyone, I'm am soooooo sorry I'm checking in late this evening! It was so funny reading what everyone wrote this evening. I'm so sorry I missed it.

                  Noorian - When I saw the Reporting In MA'AM I just about died laughing... that was so cute. But I can't believe you have to put your computer in the shop this weekend and it will be in for a week! If you can check in at a libray to say hello - try! We will think about you daily, so you will stay with us in spirit! Hopefully, they'll fix the computer faster! BTW, Congratulations on the compliment. The extra protein and exercise is adding muscle mass, so you are getting toned. How nice that people are noticing!

                  Silly, I make the mock Danish because it's fast and easy. But, there were tons of recipe's for it. I make the one with cinnamon and a little bit of lemon extract. But, you can also add a little bit of chocolate to the egg and philadelphia cheese mixture. I agree with venturing out just a little Silly. The last 10 pounds can be difficult to lose. Induction can cause a stall if you stay in that phase too long. You may need to add in a few extra carbs just to see how your body reacts. Although I am not at the last 10 pounds, I am adding in extra carbs just to make sure i don't stall this time.

                  Jennifer - Your country house seems very lovely! It must be wonderful to raise your children around so much of your family and so much open space. You must love it there. I've had such a busy day so I only made it to chapter 5 this morning. I'm getting ready to read some more of Thinner this evening. Hoping to scare myself before i fall asleep...lol

                  tummies, there will be no more discussions about tummies until Father's Day... just kidding!

                  You're doing a great job! Your food plan sounds really good and it sounds like you have a great handle on what you're eating right now. You certainly are having a wonderful payoff. We're all proud of the success that you're having! Which weight training program are you working with? It sounds like you're really buring fat fast!

                  bjs- Hope the "Fit and Firm" video works out well for you. Let us know how you like it. You're doing great on those ab crunchers (((((100))))) WoW! Good Work!

                  Kittie - congratulations on winning the battle over the fries. Whenever I go to places and they serve something that I don't want or need with my meal, I just ask them to substitute it with something else so that it's not on my plate the whole evening. That really does make it hard. But, the other night, I was served Onion rings with a filet, so I gently scraped them off my plate and put them on a bread plate and then sent them to dear BF's side of the table. Of well, it was the best I could do! I'm proud of you for not giving into the fries! Try to eat more so that you're not so hungry during the day. One of the nice things about this way of eating is that you can eat! LOL... I just read what Joy said and she said the same thing! How funny... Sorry Joy, I didn't mean to copy you!

                  Everyone was so FUNNY tonight sorry I missed it! It was really hard to catch up! What a great group! I missed you!

                        You guys are the best - thank you for all the advice. I think I will do that with fries from now on, lol! Just drown 'em with soda, that'll kill the tempation fast!

                        I have no other reason to update considering how early in the day it is, but I just wanted to share my victory of reaching the 160s this morning! I now weigh 169.5, down 3.5 pounds from two days ago. I think if I keep this up I'm well on my way to achieving the Father's Day goal. I wonder if 10 pounds will show at all?

                          Kittie--WTG with the weight loss, wow!!!

                          Well, I am up, done 100 crunches and drank 24 oz of water so far. Today is going ot be a good day. Less hectic, so a little easier to stay on plan.

                          I think I may try my excersise video now, I dunno, I was up all night last night with sore legs. PT worked them too hard, they ached all night. But I will keep moving.

                          Think I will get some groceries this am, and call it a day until evening I have a client to see.

                          I will being doing atleast 100oz of water today!!!! Excersising, and trying to eat right!!! I stay on plan, just don't seem to be eating enough. I have a hard time with b fast. I am going to Super Wal Mart shopping hoping to find the yogurt that Joy mentioned. If it doesnt stall me, it will work well, once and awhile!

                          Hope you ladies all have a sucessful day, DRINK YOUR WATER!!

                              I posted this in my journal... I think everyone must make the Mock Danish a little different

                              OMG! I've never even seen that recipe

                              Here's my recipe

                              Mock Danish:
                              Mix together
                              1 egg
                              A little Cinnamon (To taste)
                              A little Vanilla Extract (1/2 teaspoon)
                              A little lemon Extract (1/2 teaspoon)
                              *1 tablespoon Splenda/or packet of sweet N low

                              Soften approximately 2-3 tablespoons of Cream cheese and mix in with egg mixture. Keep slightly lumpy so that it has the appearance of a mock danish. Spray dish small dish with a little bit of pam and put mixture into dish. Microwave for a minute. Put a little sliver of butter on top if desired. Add a little bit of SF Fruit topping if desired(1 teaspoon - 1 Tablespoon if off of induction). Cook 1 more minute.

                              Note: You can add any kind of topping if off of induction:
                              Strawberries, blueberries, Raspberries

                              Top with homemade SF whipped cream

                              * You have to play with sweeteners until you get them exactly the way that you like them. I don't like it to be overly sweet!

                                OK..., this is a secret recipe for everyone...I don't think it's posted here, and I'm not suppose to post. But, I love these and I lived on these when I was losing weight before. If you try them, and you like them, just don't become addicted! They are great to have around for sweet cravings. My girlfriend wrote these for a LC cookbook, so, don't give the recipe away! She's going to kill me! But, I think she posted these here 2 years ago...so, that's the only reason I'm posting today.

                                Dom’s Cheesecake

                                Category: Dessert
                                Name: No Bake Cheesecake
                                By: Dominique Thomas

                                You Will Need: Amount

                                Cream Cheese, 8 oz package
                                Heavy Cream, 8 oz (1 Cup)
                                Sour Cream, 1 up
                                Vanilla , 2 t.
                                Splenda, 1/2 Cup
                                • 1 t. Lemon Extract (optional)

                                TOTALS: ********2129(Cal)*208(Fat)
                                *29(Pro)*34(carb)* 0 (fiber)

                                12 SERVINGS 177 17.3 2.4 <3 0

                                Instructions:

                                Whip the cream until it peaks.
                                In separate bowls, mix the rest of the
                                Ingredients until creamy. Fold the
                                Ingredients together.

                                This makes 12 beautiful cupcake size servings.
                                It looks wonderful in flute glasses with fruit toppings.
                                I put in foil cupcake liners. Place on tray and let
                                Guests pick their own fruit topping!
