I just got back from an overnight with my "future" parents-in-law. It was nice and I stuck to this WOL even though it was difficult. Only had 307 calories yesterday from lack of atkin's friendly food I'm happy to be home!!!

Hey guys. I'm back after a week away and a week of not really eating all that well. No big binges or things Atkins illegal, but not like I should be eating either. And according to my scales, I'm almost right back where I started on this challenge. Grrrrrrrr. Oh well, nobody twisted my arm.
Tomorrow I'm cracking down. I have some catching up to do. I WILL have 10 pounds gone by Halloween.
I did not know that this thread was hear I signed up for the challenge and remained clueless. So, far I've lost 6 1/2 lbs. The journey hasn't been all smooth. Tomorrow is my weigh day. I'm hoping that the scale is kind to me.

Has everyone had a good weekend? Mine was very nice and I'm just kicking back, kind of recovering right now. I've been dealing with a horrible headache almost all day and I finally broke down and had an excedrin migraine for it. Ever since I started Atkins I've been very anti-pill because I never know what exactly is in them. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and take them if the pain gets bad enough, huh?

I'm a bit late in coming here, so I may have to really get moving to make the deadline. These challenges I find are a great motivator, particulary for me as it makes me accountable. I love this thread and have followed it for a while. Although my weight loss is inching along, about half a pound a week, any loss will be a gain for me. I am starting at 143 lbs and everything down from this is a bonus. So lets get to it!
We are organising a big Halloween celebration for all the expat families here, so Halloween should be fun this year. We decided to ditch the candies and offer healthier food alternatives for the kids, as well as the parents.
My goals in this challenge:
1) Exercise 5 x per week for minum 45 minutes.
2) Run at least twice per week (easing my way back into it).
3) Remember to drink my water over the day, rather than in big lots.
4) Aim for the top (10 lbs), but be happy with whatever I lose.
5) Stop procrastinating and sign up to this challenge!
6) Report in regularly.

Well, the 3#'s didnt stick, registered 2.8 this am, so I will chalk it up to 2, and leave the .8 to help me with next week. WOW, I may lose this 10#'s by the end of Sept, then I can focus on another 10 for October.
OK, going to go leave my results on the reporting and charting thread.

It's never too late to start losing and it's always fun to lose with other people!!! Rosecat that is a great list of things to get you going on the weight loss!! Especially that exercise. You've inspired me to go for a jog tonight!

I had to revise my start weight, got a new scale! ACK, this thing said 182 pounds starting! I'm down to 177 as of my weigh in this morning, so that makes me 5 down so far!
I'm down 1 more pound this morning so I'm half way there! I'm very excited! I need to up the exercise but I'm hoping I have time...errr...I mean....I WILL have time!! So I'm looking to do 350 mins of exercise this week!
Congrats to BJS on her 2 pound loss! She is almost to her 10lbs goal!!
