Thanks for keeping all those stats Emma! Yay to Apple, Mitzie, Liz and O2B for the shrinking!! Thank goodness for all you people and the support of this site. I've been really depressed this week and probably would have just given up and sunken into old patterns without it. I'm finding that if I browse through at least it makes me think that I can do it...bought those ketostix a few days back..Making a new start again today. Does anyone know how much ketone is a good and safe level to be peeing out? Is more better?

Hey, goonie. Aaah...that's cool that you're finding the challenge a great hope of light. It is for me too. I don't know about the sticks 'cause I don't use 'em. Hope you find your answer. But isn't it the case of the more the better? Or maybe sometimes they don't work to show ketosis because of drinking enough water to make urine clearere? Hmmm...

        Hello, Everyone

About the stix - I have never used them, but from what I have read on the board, ketosis is like being pregnant... either you are or you aren't. Also, if it is really dark, that could mean that you aren't drinking enough water and may be dehydrated. And, apparently, it is really important to only measure at certain times of the day... for example, not right after exercising. I'm sure someone with some experience can come by and give you the particulars on that.

Thanks Apple and Goonie for the encouragment.

Yay, Caryl, for the jeans and the size 14 dress... you're going to look great at the wedding .

for this week on the labor day challenge... I'm down a total of 6.25 inches... but keep in mind that this is a good time of month for me... certain times of the month are when I lose... other 2 weeks I stall.... so it just seems like I'm losing a lot all of a sudden... in actuality I had a month long wt loss stall... but apparently not in the inch department.) so just thought I'd share. hope it doesn't confuse anyone.
