Hey Michelle....don't get too down on yourself...this happens to us all at one time or another.

Just keep drinking your water, eating right and exercising and the weight will come off. Besides the challenge is still for another month, so there is lots of time to focus and lose lose lose....big hugs

Congratulations to all the pound losers. LOL!

Emma, I totally forgot to post my loss for last week. I'm down another pound. I'm 198 now. Thanks.

Blazin' .1 inch is NOTHING! I mean literally! You gain more inches than that just inhaling! Just keep doing what you are doing, I just went through a stall (well a stall lasts more than 6 weeks I think but anyway) I hadn't lost lbs in weeks, like 3 or 4 weeks but today it broke through, with only 1 pound down. But Ya Gotta Keep On Truckin'! You still look great!! I can't wait to be at your weight!

Blazin' -- don't let it get you down! It is a long process, just like you said! The weight didn't come on overnight and, unfortunately, won't come off overnight either. I haven't lost anything for three weeks, so I know it is frustrating. Keep on keepin' on!

Michelle, please don't let this get you down. Disco's right - .1 inches back on is nothing! Especially when you consider the factors that may induce this... measuring in a slightly different spot than before, different amount of tension on the tape. I understand your frustration, though. For some reason, I get more upset over the tape measure than I do the scale. I have come to terms with how fickle the scale can be, but don't have the tolerance when the tape measure doesn't cooperate when measuring once a week. It's the reason why I don't measure often and I am not measuring till the end of the challenge. My clothes fit better every single day, and that's what matters to me.

Elsy! Way to go on the pound loss. If I could manage to lose a pound a week till I am at goal, I would be sooo happy. (but if not, I fully understand that weight loss is not linear)

Disco - yeah, baby! Broke that stall... cool.

Kiss and CDRAKE, very well done.

Ann, you are a great model for Atkins. Keeping a cool head when the scale isn't moving is an essential quality to have to be successful.

Don - you animal! Four pounds in one week?! Send me some of those vibes you've got going, OK?

Emma, thanks again for keeping up with the stats. We appreciate it.

Thanks Disco, Mitzi and Ann, I know I shouldn't whine about this....I just want to be at my goal weight so bad, so I can buy some new clothes and just be there. I am holding off on buying clothes until I am at goal, so my work clothes are really baggy, but i can't afford to get clothes now and then again 15 pounds later. thanks again for all your support, you guys really do make me feel better.

Michelle, I think you should go somewhere that is not too expensive, and get just a couple of new things. You will not believe the boost you will feel when you see how good something that fits you makes you look! I am holding off on getting a lot of new clothes, but I do keep one pair of jeans that fit (I wear jeans to work), and I got a new shirt for $12.99 last weekend that is sooo cute. It looks great, and is a nice validation that this is all worth it.

I agree with my twin Mitzi (hee hee). I was actually just going to post the same type of reply.

All my clothes were too big also...sizes 16 and 18 and there was no way I could wear them until I got to a point where I could buy a whole new wardrobe. So, I went to WalMart and bought some cute Levi shorts for $12 on sale and some new tank tops at $5 each. Then I bought a pair of jeans and jean shorts at a local shop on sale.

I know from spending lots of time in Florida that you can get great deals at Ross and T.J. Maxx and Marshalls....and there are always sales...so have fun and get a few in between clothes.

A black skirt or dress pants and a pair of jean shorts should get you through until you are the size you want to stay at. With a few staple items you can mix and match and make lots of outfits...right?

Sheesh...if I was in Florida now I'd drag you with me and we'd find you a nice new wardrobe to keep you goin for way under $100...I'm a professional shopper and I can find a bargain..hehehe.

                          Hang tight girl.

Yup-I hear you both ladies..I injured my other leg last week and can't exercise 'till at least the end of this one so last week was one of extreme depression(been going on since last November with the other leg) and I didn't weigh or measure...said I would do it tomorrow and have starting drinking more water-yay-water challenge starting-but still don't know if I want to measure Wed either as I might freak out...Blazing..I buy a few things from thrift stores like the Sally Ann when I can't or won't spend due to body changes. It's kind of a little perk so I feel better and you can find some cool items there that once they're cleaned no one knows the difference. (Now I know some people won't consider that but actually for me it's kind of like a treasure hunt) Have a good day everyone
