Blazin---hang in there, girl! It's all about playing the game

Self---lol @ kid in daddy's clothes. Too funny of an image. Nice to know there's folks that understand.

119.6 pounds gone?!?!?!?! Wooo hooo! And it's only been less than a month (since July 5th, right?).

Thanks for spending the time adding it all up, Emma!

Ooooooh, Michelle, I agree with the other girls. It is actually a great time of year to shop. I got several tops from Christopher and Banks for 3.99-6.99. They were normally 25.00 or more! Get a couple of sale items that make you feel great. Clothing can really, really make a difference in how you look. And, though it shouldn't be true, when you look better, you feel better! Also, I would recommend shopping for higher quality sale items than for regular priced items at a cheap store. The more expensive stores usually run bigger in sizes. It is such a boost to try on clothes that fit in a SMALLER size than you expected! The clothes usually last longer, too.

Self, I think you should take them same advice as Michelle! You need to show off that sexy new bod!

Congrats on the loss sweet, i hope to report the same soon.

OK, i'm taking everyones advice and going to Ross, Bealls, TJ MAX and Kohls this weekend (don't have a Marshalls)...will report back on goodies found. I'm just going to get over it and do it....i just dread trying pants on though....My husband owes me a mommy day out since I had the kids the past week....Sweet wish you were here to shop with me, i'm actually a terribly impatient shopper and usually end up in tears in the dressing room. does anyone else do that? or am I just a basket case all the time?

Self-- I better here you bought something also, if i have to.

You go Blazin’-I’m sure you’re going to find some awesome stuff and feel great! I’m not much for shopping unless I’m getting a great deal and we all have those days where you think nothing looks good (Don’t have one OK?) And yeah-Self-You heard the lady-get out there and mac it up!!

Okay-so I finally bit the bullet this morning and weighed and measured….
I ‘ve lost 1 pound and 1 inch from my waist so …yay..I’ll take it and hope it inspires me to keep going. I took a bunch of other measurements too as my daughter says I look thinner in different places so let’s see.
(Been working on changing my siggy for a long time this morning though and kept losing stuff over and over again-frustrating!)

So Emma- that’s current weight of 165 lbs- down 5 lbs total and my waist is now 1 “ less I’m down 3 inches altogether since we started.
                  Have a good one!

Weigh day for me too this week, and unfortunately no change on the scale to report. Still at 224. Hey ho!! My weight loss seems to go like that - loss for two weeks then stop for a week, and so on!

                        Hi, guys!

Just breezing through... I've had little computer time today and will have even less tommorow, so I'm not up on posts. Just wanted to report that today was my weekly weigh in day for the challenge, and I had no change.

Time for me to heed my own words and not get bent over it. I can do that.

As soon as I get some time, I will get caught up here. Carry on, fellow challengers!

OK, i'm taking everyones advice and going to Ross, Bealls, TJ MAX and Kohls this weekend (don't have a Marshalls) No Marshalls? Thats one of my favorite stores when I'm down in Florida...oh well...the rest will do...and if you have a Burlington Coat Factory...try there too....will report back on goodies found. I'm just going to get over it and do it....i just dread trying pants on though me too, I hate that the most, but no getting past it...right......My husband owes me a mommy day out since I had the kids the past week....Sweet wish you were here to shop with me, I really wish I was there to shop with you too. I love shopping!!!! I could so be a professional shopper. I just love shopping for other people the most. It gives me that high that those on here get from exercise......hmmm...if I power shopped maybe that would be considered exercise... i'm actually a terribly impatient shopper and usually end up in tears in the dressing room. oh nooooo...hope that doesn't happen. I would love to be there to go with you, we could pick out some cool stuff and you could do a little fashion show, course with your killer good looks I find it hard to believe that anything could look bad on you. You are a very beautiful woman Michelle. does anyone else do that? can't say I've ever been in tears in a dressing room, depressed yes, disgusted, appauled, frustrated, but never tears....or am I just a basket case all the time? nahhhhh you're not a basket case...just emotional, and there's nothing wrong with that...beats the alternative...being a hard a$$...

Have fun! I'll be with you in spirit and I want a full report...hehehe. Get some good deals girl!
