    • Just checkin in, I'm at 239, lost another 3 lbs. since last week, must be all the water, and excercise!!! Just another 19 lbs to my July goal set at 220. I know I can, I know I can,,,,,I will do it!!!! :joy

        • Better late than never - I am joining in and going to put myself down for 15 lbs. gone by July 4. So that'd put me at 221, from 236. That will take off most the weight that I gained when I got off the diet/woe last year to travel.

          I also put up a challenge for September, which is my bday - it'll be a great birthday present if I can finally hit the 100 lbs. lost mark, and even greater if someone joins me!

          Edited to add: I just went back and looked over this thread and you guys look great! You are doing so well! But for those not dropping lbs. every week - check out your tape measure, or use and mark a long piece of string - you will find your body is just doing some readjusting of things, moving inches off, so that the next few lbs. can drop!

            • I'm back

              Sorry for disappearing. I'm still feeling a little discouraged. I went back on strict induction after gainining the 5 pounds I lost during the beginning of this challenge. So...it's time to figure something out. I know I can do this. I never thought I could do Atkins for a year and I did it. I never thought I could lose this much weight but I did. I've accomplished a lot and I'm going to kick this final 25 pounds of fat's butt!!!!!!My first goal-I'm going to drink water like I've never drank water before. How many bottles of water do most of you drink a day?????

              • Hey Everyone!

                Can I join too? I'd like to lose 20 lbs by July 4th! I'm still in induction and I'm planning on staying with induction until May 1. I have about a total of 35 pounds that I want to lose.

                How do you guys do this, do you check in everyday?

                  • I am down 4 lbs.!

                    I wrote down my last weigh-in wrong - it was 239, not 236. So instead of losing 1, I lost 4.

                    Where do I get a graphic for my signature, showing how much I've lost and how much I have left to go?

                      I'll workout hard tonight. This week will be rough for that. I will have family here from Wed thru Sat due to a death in the family. Next week I'll be back to normal schedule.

                        • I wasn't able to get weighed in today. So I will do it in the morning and get it posted. I don't think I am losing scale weight, but I am losing tape weight slowly but surely

                            I did 40 min on the treadmill last night. Tonight I have class so it's a rest day. Tomorrow I have family coming in thru Sat so I don't know how the rest of my week is looking.

                            • Another pound down, a bit disappointing but I have lost 39 pounds, and I'm determined to meet my goal for July1. TOM is about ready to appear, so hopefully the wooshie fairy will follow :nod

                              • Ok so I got weighed in this morning and I seem to have gained 2 pounds. Am not sure how that happened, but I refuse to sweat the small stuff. I sweat enough working out every day. Besides I am shrinking and I have donated all the old jeans to the second hand store that prove it. I will make this goal.
