    Morning all! Hope that things are chugging along nicely for everyone to-day.

    This is turning into a great challenge already, fab committment all round. Go people!!

    I know it helps me to be back in a challenge again. Insisting on photos was genius Emma, even if it briefly tempted me to drop out rather than post them. (<---- coward) There is NO WAY I could stand it if my end of challenge ones even resembled the start ones, and that is powerful motivation!!

    Ishyia I am sure you are just stuck in a hormonal thing which will work itself out. Hormones are such a pain in the rear, swinging randomly about in there and doing bizarre things to our bodies - not to even mention our heads.

      oh i know! its very powerful! I did my first picture challenge with Julie and i worked my butt off to get a change in those photos. I was NOT posting pics that were identical at the end of the challenge.

      I think you will all surprise yourselves with the differences you'll see!

        Ok, I finally got a "skin" pic! You guys'll be sorry!

        I don't have a swimsuit that I can even remotely get into, so instead I just wore a tank and shorts and tried to pull the tank up some. It's not a good pic overall because I don't have a full length mirror. The mirror I do have is in the bathroom and I'm standing back as far as I can to get this pic.

        At least it's something to work with... You can see more than with the original pic I posted on Mon.

        Yikes! Kinda scary...

                Good morning everyone!

                Well I made it through yesterday and beisdes a couple pieces of sugar free candy, I did great! I drank 160 oz of water. I didn't think I could do that but I did and I needed it. It def helped me get through some tough times. I will be throwing the sugar free candy away today, cause I think I only want it cause I know it is there. I have gottne on the tredmil two days in a row (huge for me) and have been trying the back exercises. (never feel like I am doing them right but will keep going!) Thanks for all your support yesterday it really helped me!! Now on to another legal day!!!

                  Yay Starr! thats a nice positive post, in regards to the back exercises, i always feel like i'm doing everything wrong! search for them on the internet and check out what you should be feeling!

                    chick & Emma - I am hoping that the pic will change for the better! I think we are our own worst critics!

                    This morning, I woke up early - 0530 - and couldn't get back to sleep. So, I got up and did Turbo Jam! I was so proud of myself! I don't usually exercise in the morning - usually in the afternoon. I'm happy that I didn't just lay that but used the time to benefit myself instead.

                      Good job! hopefully as the sickness wears off i can start gettin up early and doing some exercise, i keep hearing it makes you feel good for the whole day and we all need some of that!

                        Good Morning Everyone, just checking in to say hi and we are off to a great start. Also Cheribaby that is great you got up and excercised this morning, now just send me that same motivation lol.
                        You all just dont know im so psyched about this challenge. I just pray it stays with me, this is how i usually am at the beginning all the time, and that is how i end up in a yo yo effect, so i will be posting here daily probally just to keep up my motivation. Well i just wanted to check in and say i think we all are going to kick butt this 11wks.

                          Hi everyone! Great energy in this thread - we can DO this!

                          Dyingtobethin - thanks very much!

                          Starr - it can be quite hard to tell if you are working the back correctly - I've never really felt it in the way of other muscles. I find it useful to squeeze my shoulders blade up an in (as far as is comfortable) or at least to be aware of it.

                              Good morning challenge peeps!

                              I got my Wednesday exercise routine done while watching Tuesday night's Biggest Loser. That show always motivates me when I'm feeling lazy.

                              I moved on to OWL rung 1 yesterday, and I'm really excited! I did my 14 day induction, and got the heck out of there, because I need more veggies, lol. This the first time I've ever done Atkins by the book, and so it's the first time I've ever gotten past induction, even though I've done Atkins at least 4 times in the past.

                              Carbs yesterday: 25

                              Exercise yesterday:
                              60 minutes jogging
                              100 wall push-ups
                              100 reps with 10 pound weights
                              100 lunges
                              100 leg lifts
                              100 crunches
                              100 bicycles
                              100 jump rope jumps

                              Now that my scary pics are public, I'm 100% determined to see a big change once 11 weeks is up!
