      Hi Everyone!
Good job Glenda with the pictures! I didn't do a bikini either!

Atkid! oh, dear! well, Emma is wise beyond her years... she should be a shrink. She always knows just what to say. But I feel your pain... but there will be joy too when that little bundle of joy arrives. At least your son has a career ahead of him as a culinary chef! But that is stressful... and stress does really mess with wt loss.

I had a heck of a day... it started out really nice, then got a bomb dropped on me.... had to work too... anyways... it'll all be okay.

            Emma,

That was just my **warped** sense of humor inferring that a woman who was "raised right" would have more modesty than to post unflattering pictures of herself wearing a bikini. Me, I just don't care ...

No offense intended to anyone Sorry you are not feeling well this AM and hope that your meds get you back feeling better. Arthritis of any kind is just nasty.

Boo...I read about your scales woes. I went through the same thing and bought several digital scales until I found one that is consistent. It is a taylor from Costco...only $35. I also read that when you move a digitial scale you need to step on it, let it register the weight, step off and re-weigh. Only use the second number.

Happy Saturday everyone! Another dreary day out today, I need the sun to shine! Glenda glad you were able to get your pictures up. Does that complete the list for pics? Hope, a bummer you got called to work today, extra money is nice though. Thanks for the kind words on the baby, trying to keep my eye on the prize, a new sweet bundle of joy and leaving the stress behind. I am just such a worrywort. Emma, sorry you are having a bad day, I hope you meds give you relief quick. Hi, Alexa, Pam and Elsy, hope yall are geared up for weigh in Monday. Blue, I used to do the same thing with my scale. I would actually read it three times, usually the 2nd and 3rd would match. Never go by the first reading, I finally put it away and use my little cheapy 10.00 scale. Bambina hugs to ya, I know just what you mean with the word challenge, it messes me up all the time. Hope the whoosh fairy pays you a visit tonight.

hehehe...Glenda, maybe it is a nurse thing....I know a lot of people (like me) who have sort of a dry, sarcastic sense of humor

Atkid, hope you are having a good weekend despite the dreary weather and recent news . How wonderful it will be to be a gramma--mine were both so special to me. Kudos to you for raising a man that COOKS .

I am going to be chugging the water for the next 2 days in preparation for Monday. I have had this weird craving for HAM for the last couple of days so I need to flush out that salt .

That WHOOSHIE FAIRY better get busy cuz she's got a lot of ground to cover before Monday.

Atkid I just wanted to let you know I can totally understand how your feeling about your grandbaby news ........ I've certainly been there and done that, but I've also been the one giving my parents that news as well. The thing is like Emma said It is what it is ....... and what it is is a miracle that is being brought into your life. It may be unexpected, but certainly not unplanned. because every child conceived is planned by God for a reason and a purpose. This baby will definitly bring change to your lives and sometimes maybe even stres and trials but girl you are about to become a GRAMMA!!!!! It is the most amazing blessing you will ever know ......... so different from becoming a mom ........ and yet amazing just the same! I can tell you from my own experience that what those kids need more then anything is for people to let them know that it will be ok ......... that no matter what comes you will be there to helpand support them and come **** or high water you will love them and this baby always! They are asking themselves all the same questions you are asking yourself and they just need reassurance. I know it's hard but be excited ........ you have your very first grandchild on the way!!!!!!!! Hugs and congratulations to you!!!
