    Well, I am back on track and at day 2. It is so hard to get back on track after you fall off. I go all day, eating perfect and then succumb after my cut-off eating time of 7:00 p.m. I mostly just eat too many pork rinds, but eating late does me in every time.

    I have to have the surgery over again that I had in October and that is stressing me out. Still no excuse for eating away my blues. I know that is not the answer. I will have the surgery on February 11th and, of course, will have to be on antibiotics again.

        Sorry everyone - I failed!!! I fell at the tiramisu!!!!! then the ice cream!!! So back to day one tomorrow!! I've not got alot of things coming up in the coming months so should have a good run at the cheat free

          What I know:
          1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
          2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
          3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
          4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

            Darn ... I hate that I succomed to tempation. Well, I have not been on the straight and narrow. But I think where I messed up at was eating the cashews and thinking it was okay. I had no idea cravings were so real. I can handle almost anything but cravings. I can even go hungry. But when those cravings come it is losing battle. Well day one starts over again for me on Sunday. Tommorrow. I am craving right now and I just eat. I had potato soup from Ocharles and cheese cake ...no no. My stomach feels fool, but right in my through says I am still hungry. I keep eating skins and drinking water hoping it willl go a way but it won't . well early in the morning I am having eggs and bacon. lots of eggs an bacon ... whooo As a result of my cheats I only lost 1 pound this week.

                This will be day 1 for me too. I feel down about last night. I ate some sauceless chicken wings but I think they had too much breading on them. I had gotten into an argument with someone and instead of putting them down and eating something else, I ate about 10 of them. I have done very well in the past two weeks and was frustrated about last night and sure enough, ketones were trace this morning. I am trying to stay positive and say it was a little glitch. I am trying to treat myself as I would a friend. Why are we so hard on ourselves and so good to others?

                Goals:
                No caffiene
                No more than one Diet Rite a day
                Do some form of exercise every day
                Do re-induction cleanly

                Ugh, I am feeling down.

                  Thanks Alexa, it did teach me a lesson about reading labels, so it might have saved me from a much bigger problem later on down the road.

                  Bluebelt, thanks for the encouragement. I'm going to count it as a cheat just because it was my fault for not reading my labels. And I'd like to feel 100% confident about the plan I'm on, and the lessons I can learn from my mistakes.
                  It's probably in there to keep the cheese shreds from sticking together. You've shredded cheese before, if you put it in a bag, it will stick together. I am like you, though, I never would have thought twice about it. I would have said "Mmm, cheese I can happily sprinkle in my mouth"

                      Stay strong and remember this the next time you want to eat off plan. It never tastes as good as you remember and it takes days for the cravings to go away again. Those Carb Monsters are evil!

                        Let go of the 'down' feeling and move forward. You can't do a thing about yesterday, but you can do something about from this day forward. Shake it off and get excited all over again about Atkins!

                          Thank you so much for that. After I posted that, I walked a 1/2 mile on the treadmill then swam 1,100 yards. I had me a bunless sirloin burger and it was delish. I love getting the bunless burgers out here in Cali because they wrap it in so much lettuce, I get a mini salad too! I am beginning to think I can even do without the Diet Rite but it is nice to have when I am wanting a little something.

                            Day 100, the last time I did Atkins, I didn't even come close, I would schedule cheat days every few weeks. This time, I am scheduling no cheats and really trying to make this my WOE/WOL. Most likely I will have a stumble along the way, but But I feel so much more positive about Atkins as a WOE as opposed to a "DIET"

                            Hope you are all doing great. Keep up the good work.

                            I also posted my 100 day pictures updates in my Journal today. I still have along way to go, but the pictures do help to reinforce everything.

                              I am going to check out your pics, Blue.

                              Once you get used to the way of eating, you can feel something wrong as soon as it hits your mouth. I went wine tasting with my friends. We went to four wineries and I said I would choose one of them to taste at. At the one place I was having some wine, they were eating these tiny oyster crackers and saying how good they were (one of my friends' is 90 pounds btw) and that I should try. I put one in my mouth but I kinda made a face, not one that anyone would notice but my husband. He said "Is it good?" I nodded my head and just stood there. After a moment, he held out his hand and I spit it out into his palm. I just couldn't do it...I couldn't eat it. It wasn't worth it.
