    Hey everyone! I've been away from the boards because my got hit last Wednesday and her SUV overturned 5x. her ear was severed and she has severe head injuries. I have been at the hostpital day and night since. Good news she will survive. I will admit this way of life has proven to be so hard for me in this crisis but I am trying..

    As of today I am 197 :anger ..I will get back on track though.

    Don't count me out.

      Take care during this difficult time. You and your family are in my prayers.

      My stats have changed. Purchased new scales and they showed me at a higher weight, so corrected to the new weight as well as a higher challenge goal. Hopefully they will be more accurate and give me a better picture of what is going on with my weight. BTW the scale were 10 pounds off. Have had them forever, so I guess it was time for some new ones. My old ones show 185 this morning and my new one 195.0 , but I would have been down another pound this morning, going by the old ones so things are moving in the right direction!

        Cagirl, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

        I didn't work out last night. Yesterday afternoon, I found out that my oldest daughter, who lives in Oregon, is in the hospital. She suffers from depression. She doesn't want me to go out there at this time but I was on the phone all night with family.

        I will resume my exercise this evening. My wt this morning 144.

          East texas! Look at you! You look fantastic! You look so much younger and look at your pants just falling off of you in the "after! *lol* My hubby told me scales wear out with time (which I didn't know!). You look fabulous!

          debbie-- you made that moleskin work for you, honey. Look at you GO, girl! On a more serious note, I am very sorry to hear of your daughter's affliction. Depression is terrible for the person suffering it, but no less horrible for ones who love them. {{{Debbie}}} I'm sending up prayers for your daughter, for the doctors to be able to help her, and for you and your family.

            Just re-started Atkins today and would like to start up with a challenge right away.. my motivation this time isn't as great as last time, so I need all the help I can get. Not sure what my goal should be, since I've just started back up again. So how about SW 202/ CW 202/ GW 175/ 27lbs to go? Will revise it once I am into it a bit more and see how my body is going to react to the whole thing, but hopefully that's realistic!

              Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My sis is the one that got hit and is in the hospital.
              FYI I did not realize how bad healthcare can be ...We have been stressed not only with her injuries..but ith the numerous mistakes and oversights of the nurses and doctors..Very scary!

                      Last night I did 45 min on the treadmill at level 5. Then my foot gave out so I didn't get my 60 min. :no

                        I'd like to join, too!

                        I've been away from Atkins for awhile but restarted inductiion on Tuesday March 7th. My husband is stationed overseas in Kuwait and my goal is to lose as much as possible until I meet him in Germany in August! Tuesday's weight was 201...do I start there or where I am today at 198.5? Anyway...I guess my goal for the end of May would be 175..is that realistic? So that makes 23.5 to lose by May 31st. I think I can do this! I am working out at least once a day...committting to Pilates 2X a week So please count me in!

                            Hey! I want to join this challenge! It might just be what I need to keep me going. I have been on extended induction and am starting to get a little bored with my food variety and have considered cheating! What do I need to do? Just set a goal? If so...here it is! I am currently at 236.5 and would like to see 210 by the end of May! Does this sound reasonable? Someone a little more experienced give me some input please!
                            Thanks for being there to challenge and encourage me along this journey.

                            I will be rooting for all of you, also! Let's do it! :joy

                              Your goal is realistic. If you are bored with your foods, you should move onto OWL. You will still lose, I promise you!

                              Ok... my daily....

                              Last night I did 48 min on treadmill at level 7 with various inclines. My foot just will not allow me to do 60 minutes!!! :no

                              Then I did weights for another 30 min, upper body.

                              And... woohoo... a personal trainer offered to help me out on the side. Wow... I learned a lot from her last night!!! Maybe I'll start seeing some results soon!!! :icondance
