Good Morning!! BF and I went out and am just now getting home. Haven't been out this late in SO long!!

          Friday's Menu:

          3 mini meals of chicken

Chipotle fajita burrito bowl with peppers, onions, chicken, sour cream, guacamole, slasa, cheese, and lettuce

I'm trying to do Kimmer's 3 day experiment from LCF but I always mess up at dinner. Oh well, kept it pure nonetheless! :yes

                3 miles, that's awesome!!

I run 3 times a week, and I'm in my first month of running, after doing a month of brisk walking. I have been getting some minor shin splints, but I just read that it can be common when you're starting out. I'm going to make a better effort at stretching before I go out, and after as well.

I made a stir fry last night...OMG, I marinated my beef strips for half the day in a little bit of soy sauce and some minced garlic and fresh ginger.
                SO freekin' good!!
I think you could marinate a paper towel in soy sauce, ginger and garlic and it'd be delicious..lol
I'm in OWL, so I could handle the veggies involved, since most were 1 cup veggies, but if I was in Induction, or extended induction, I'd just do the meat up like that and serve with a salad.

I can relate to the shin splints. I have gotten them quite a bit in the past. Last year I did the Bolder Boulder which is a 10k run/walk here. Oh my god by the end of the first mile I could barely walk. I walked through it though and felt fabulous at the end of the day. This year we are going to do it again. The goal is to shave 1/2 an hour off of our time. That means we will have to run some of the way. I am going to build myself up. Today I did 3 miles again except this time at the end I kicked it up to jogging for the last 5 minutes.

Hope you are all having a wonderful PURE Easter Holiday!

Sharon, your brunch looks good. Remember no more than 6 waking hours without eating. Even if you have to get a couple of snacks in make sure you eat.

I do not know what our Easter meal will be like, going to our friends house. It will likely be carb loaded but I am prepared for that and I expect to make smart choices. Now if only DH would do the same :no
