    The Olympics are starting. I am a big fan. But I want to participate as well. I want to climb mount olympus. Do the impossible.

    So join me.





    Here is what you have do in this challenge.

    Pick one food that is your problem and that you may need a break from for various reason. You are over eating it? You think it may be causing you to stall? It is taking over your life? You are consumed by it.
    Well here it is: CUT IT OUT. Totally for the duration of the Olympics and see how it changes you.

    Are you with me? Lets jump those hoops. Let's go the distance.

    Challenge starts Friday (12th) opening day and ends February 28 at closing ceremonies.
    Startdate: November 18, 2007. Female 5'2"

    May Challenges 2010
    Push-ups: 450/800
    Abs: 850/1900
    Squats: 650/1200
    Lunges: 500/1000
    Strength: 490/1200
    Running: 50/100 km

                  I'll join, but I've already started it last Thursday. I need encouragement to keep at it and want to keep at it and give it up all together.

                  I'm giving up half-n-half with my coffee or any cream with my coffee period. So black with just sweetener.

                  I've also cut down on the coffee already, down to one cup a day so not having cream will help me keep at it since I'm not that crazy about the taste without it.

                  So count me in too!
                  Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
                  STAC Restart: 1/05/09
                  306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

                  Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
                  Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

                  Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
                  Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
                  Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
                  Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

                    Hey ladies, i think this is a great idea.
                    It will be super-duper hard for me, but I will give up Diet drinks.
                    I'll be 23 next month.
                    I have a wonderful/supportive bf and a daughter who is a year and a half old.
                    If I cant lose the weight for myself, I'll do it for her!

                      Welcome. How nice to see you all here. I am thrilled to have this company. Make the prospect of giving up pb a tiny bit brighter.

                      Barrnone - nice to have you here. Ranch - I can imagine that could be a problem food.
                      Sham - cheese!! that will be hard. But many do need limits on cheese
                      Jo - love you!! I have read about bread in your journal.

                        How do I get one of those cool Participant ADBB 2010 thingies that u guys have with the Olympic rings on them?
                        I'll be 23 next month.

                            I really really want to cut out cheese.
                            Sometimes (often) I don't think it's possible to go a day with out it! lol

                            Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
                            Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

                            so:

                            01/04/10 ~ 229.0
                            01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
                            (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
