I will be perfectly honest ..I just had to pump my own gas this past week ..but not until a nice guy came over and pushed all the buttons for me and then put the handle of the thing in my tank ..I did not even know how to open the gas tank! I have had this car for two years and never done it ..why is the thing to open the tank on the floor of my car anyway that is so stupid!!!!!

ah HA! so you CAN pump gas! See? And you never told me!! Woohoo! I knew you could do it Heidi!!! See? No more excuses now!
No full service stations around here anymore either.
And Rich, almost all of the gas stations have gone prepay now, since the price of fuel went up so much, I guess they were really getting hit with the pump and run drivers.

yeah I can do it if someone slides my card pushes all the buttons and puts the nozzle in for me..then takes it out and puts it back and that is EXACTLY what happened

I pump it. In fact, very few service stations offer "full service" around here and if they do, it's only one pump with full service.

I think it is because I looked so pathetic standing there staring at it with the card in my hand there were four slots that all looked like a card should go in and the buttons ......he came over and asked me if I needed help and it kind of snowballed...no I did not know him ...

then when I looked at my car and tried to open the door to the gas tank and it would not open ..I almost lost it...he said "it is on the floor down there and pointed" ..why on earth do they put the gas door button on the floor of your car?????? that is crazy if you ask me? then he just went ahead and pumped it for me I even tried to tip him and he laughed and said "pay it forward" so ..in my own way ...you know I will

as far as the joke goes...it is kind of funny now ..but at the time I thought my head would explode right there all over the gas station!!!!

Even though I live in NJ, I voted for the last one, about Oregon!! Here in Jersey we CAN'T pump our own gas. Which is fine by me!!

woooo hooo right on my pit bull loving sister!!!!!!! that is worth voting for and I want that law here!!!!!! Why on earth does anyone ever want to pump gas themselves I want to pay people to do this for me ok????? especially if it give more people jobs...I do what I do because I am good at it and other people aren't ..I can not and do not want to pump gas so while we are tossing people off state aid ..why not make these these gas stations have people there hired to do this job if they want to do it..win win....

Absolutely ... I can and will drop the cord on the ground...go into the house ...let the battery die .... and not go to work

wonder how long someone could stand me being around the house being all domestic and stuff...before they picked up the plug and put it in the wall again?
