Re: Hey I pumped my own gas Today!!!!
That's what I wanted to know! That's why I looked it up. Apparently it just means that in those states that have the law you cannot be forced to join a union to keep a job. At least that was the jest of what I got from that website I looked at, I posted the link if you're interested.

.... JK ....it is amazing I had just heard that Oregon was "right to work" and understood what it meant but never took the time to look it up ...but to be honest I will never pretend I am smarter than I am ..I just know that I love to see folks employed and never mind paying for someone else to do what I dont want to do myself ..that is why I worked my way through college (being paid to do what others did not want to do) and found a career and a job I love that pays very well
..it is win win to me if the money moves in a good direction!!! and I dont like to pump gas so I am happy to pay a little bit extra for someone else to do it for me ..but that is just me !!! and to be honest again I can not obesess on the price of gas because I have to buy it to function given the lack of good public transport in my area (and I love utililizing that when I can!) ..in fact Jen when I travel to Canada I park my car and do not move it again ..just walk, catch buses and the light rail where ever I go ...so much nicer to me to pay someone else to drive me around and support the public transport!
