The weatherchannel.com is claiming it's 32 out there. It feels like it's 32 in here so I don't know where they are getting their ideas from! It's just way to cold for me!

I think my house is colder than that as well!

Ha Ha, I just came home from 3 hours of errands, including grocery shopping, and I just put it all away, and was about to get some food ready to eat, I was really hungry, and the power went out. It was a 3 town outage. Power was out for 2 hours, thank goodness it came back on about 20 minutes ago. The house is still freezing. It is 11 degress outside right now.

Good thing is ----the power co originally said it was expected to take 4 hours, so we were lucky!

28 degrees and snowing.... it just started a couple of hours ago.

I had to go into town (18 miles down the road) and the weather is driving all the deer down to the road I hate it when they jump out in front of you, which happened 2x's along the way

Yeah, I do that too !! One of the old-timers here was complaining that the deer population (what he could count in the fields) was down to a mere 1,100 along the 30 mile valley. He claims about 10 years ago it was over 4,000 . I don't know if I believe that, but sometimes I do as I play dodge the blimey things

Deer are just a fact of life where I live. People come from different states to hunt them in my area, but they're bad about getting in the road year round.

16 right now, supposed to be 43 today. Heading off for town to go too the hardware store. I'm going to have to rent a backhoe and dig up my septic system shortly (end of next week) so I hope it warms up some before then!

It is sunny out which is a good thing. But it is minus 35 celcius,-31F, and it is probably going to last for a bit this cold. I guess I'll stay indoor watching curling today.

We have deer here to. Although maybe they tried to find a warmer spot this week

We had some snow yesterday and today the roads were very icy.Its so cold here yet were expected to have more snow next week not looking forward to it.

OK East Coast Friends, I want to hear all about what's going on with that snow this weekend. I guess we are only getting 2-3" here in Chicagoland. After you shovel out, tell us your stories.

Chicagoland 31 and snowing. It looks really pretty, it is a gentle snow, and all the trees have snow sitting on the branches, it looks like a picture.

Behind our house it is sort of a "small woods" area, so it is very pretty when it snows.

We've gotten about 2 foot of snow since yesterday evening and it hasn't stopped coming down yet.................

Barb, we are getting that snow blizzard now. Not great timing with all the holiday travel and such. Hope you're staying warm.
