      okay andalien, confession time.
i fell off on my first try. when i managed to stay on the thing i barely sqeeked out 3, if i remember right. and that was with the ball at my thighs. it does get easier and i am telling you that as you make the ball stable you are working your abs and legs. this works more than just those arms.

Ha ha - that was worth making a movie of.... my first attempts at this.

Glad only my daughter was watching (and that was so she could call an ambulance if necessary ).

Anyway - count me for 10 / 300. I've got 10 to make up since I was travelling yesterday but no-ambulance-necessary means this exercise can happen tomorrow ! YEAH!

If I don't come back.... you'll know why! (and probably see it on America's Funniest Home Videos - I don't trust my daughter after all the laughing she did today!).

Good Job Kacey!! Stick with it, and if your daughter gets out of line don't you have embarassing baby pictures that you can use against her??? My mom sure does!!

Quick report: Just did ten for 20/155. Didn't fall off ball this time.

I enjoyed reading the stories here of others falling off the ball! Comfort in numbers.

Oh yes Lady! Mass embarassment is always the most fun of any challenge!!! I've definitely taken some nosedives, the biggest one being when upon mounting the ball I took a jogging start and flew across the living room!! The BF was impressed!!

Way to go with the 10 today!!! Keep it up!!!

Hey, Andalian! You did your five and you had a happy audience! My daughter has really laughed at the ball, but she had to try it. It is a rather tempting-looking sphere with a presence of its own.

Saty, how are you doing with your pushups? I don't see a record up there. I enjoyed reading your "Living for the Rest of My Life" link. Just as you had, I'd done very well on Atkins years back--that period was the best I ever felt and I sure was happy with the food choices. This time around, the weight is coming off much more slowly, but I think I'm actually dieting better--enjoying the wide array of choices. For instance, first time around I hadn't worked with avocado at all and I sure didn't take advantage of the many recipes for cruciferous vegetables. Anyway, my point is, even though the first time was great with a final 50-lb-weight loss, this time is more fun: this board already is making it more fun, I'm braver with food, and I love these exercise challenges. In fact, I think I'll go right now and join the abs challenge if it isn't too late.

Ten more pushups this morning--but I must confess I'm doing mine from the lower abdominal area. September I'll try moving the ball more on the upper thighs. Little by little....

                            Best regards to everybody!

Hey Lady!! You are doing great!!! I marked ya down for ten more! Thanks for looking at my journal. It's fun to go back and see my journey, although it would be really fun if I hit goal!!! I've been doing good with my pushups even though my eating is out of whack. I've got 20/200 so far. I've been attempting them at the knees, but it takes me forever!! The food choices are much better for me too, I love ADBB!! It makes it so much easier to stay on track. It's good that you are starting out at the lower ab area. Then once they get easy (AND THEY WILL!!!) you can start moving the ball. You've doing a great job!!! Also in my experience, it's NEVER too late to join a challenge!!! Jump in!

You all have been doing so well, I'm going to try and post the chart today. I made it summer colors since this is the last month I get to see summer!
                              Best Wishes!
