I'm still around - sick as a dog- been waking up, getting the kids to school, doing the tape, then going back to bed. I may need to add a couple of extra days at the end, because these past few days really haven't been quality.

One good thing, got the cast off yesterday... so at least I can type with both hands! I'm still on RIU. Everything is okay, except those cramper things. Ugh. I'm alright with the slow ones, just when she speeds it up, I can't keep up.

*cough*... ugh ... time for some more hot tea, and then off to bed

Coco, glad you're still with us! Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Soliwit---you're not sore??!?!?!?!?! What on earth? Wish I could be like that, but the pixie always puts me in pain!

Anna, I used to hate the yoga parts, but did them anyways. It was hard at first, don't get me wrong. My arms would shake and I thought I would topple over. Now there's no shaking and doing the yoga actually makes me feel strong and helps me stretch out. I'd recommend giving it another chance...I really would.

      This morning's pain was Burn!

Heh, I didn't say I was not sore, I was just not THAT sore, well not sore enough to chicken out on going to that tai chi class...........
I must have been in some craze though, you won't believe this; we went to that place a bit earlier because my hubby wanted to do some cycling before the class, there were not really any places to sit there so, well, I did 20 minutes of elliptical cross country while he was cycling and then we did an hour of tai chi (they do the yang style long form, which is different from what I learned, it's almost like I know it but then they hussled everything up in the wrong order, fun though!)
So well, tai chi is also really hard on the legs too, like for an hour in row you kinda sit into your legs and make these awfully slow movements.
To make a long story short, today's BIU was a dissaster, I was cursing the whole time, I could hardly move my legs they felt like lead !!!
Did the whole thing though, this time I DID modify some things, I really couldn't do it, especially again those lunges and also the crampers were killing me and I chickened out one time and actually took a break, I must be human after all, LOL !
I hope tomorrow will be better.

Coco: CONGRATULATIONS on losing the cast !!!!
That must be so good, finally having your arm back, is it still weak though, or can you do everything again ?
I'm sorry to hear you feel so bad though, yuk, I sure hope you feel better soon!
Good for you though for still doing the work out, even though you can't do it that fanatically, it still counts I think !!!

Biogeek : Like I said I was a bit sore, just not to a stage that I couldn't move or that every move was hurting.
Maybe I am weird, but a certain stage of soreness even feels good to be, makes me feel proud because it's the proof I did a good work out and that my muscles are 'paying for it' and will get stronger.

        See you peeps tomorrow !!!!!

Friday night rest night yesterday. Needed to catch up with DH after a busy week.

BIU today. No modifications except the lunges, which continue to kill me.

            Happy Saturday to all.

Progress . . . slow but sure. I'm now firmly at step 6 on the jeans test and wrking on step 7. No more pounds or measurable inches lost, but it's coming off.

I'm going to do BIU today when the kids and I get back from shopping this morning. Then I'll be gone for a couple of days traveling on business. I'm planning on using the hotel gym while I'm gone, so no Si6 for a couple of days. I'll be back on Wednesday.

Have a great trip, Anna! Some of those hotel gyms are pretty nice!!!

Today's pain: Burn. I can keep up with the squats, but lunges kill me as well.

Workout No. 22 - BIU - DONE. I must have made it over a hump, because today I suddenly could do (most of) the lunges. Yeah! Only 2 more to go to be 2/3 of the way there.

                      Thanks, Biogeek.

Hey, great news. Just tried it out, and BIU plays on my work computer. So I'll be able to work out the next couple of days on the road. I may still use the gym though, just for a change.

That's cool, Anna! Even though the screen is small compared to the tv, you don't really need to see the Pixie, just listen to her moves.

Yesterday was really hard again but today went a bit better, those lunges are still not that good though (I'm so wobly!!) they are definitely not my favs, ugh.
I had to curse my way through it yesterday but today I didn't give a peep, hehehe.
Hey Anna, great that you can still use si6 on the road, good for you to also add the gym, wow, that'll be great I bet!
I agree with biogeek, you only need to hear that evil pixie, no need to see her too LOL

Soliwit, I'm always cursing at the pixie. When she smiles or gigles, I sometimes growl, too. Not a workout goes by without some input from me! LOL

                                Hey ladies. Just checking in.

I have been the biggest, fattest, laziest slug for a few days now. Today is going to be another one. Between puking kids, a stuffy nose for me, and doctor appointments - it's going to be another fun filled day at the Brook W house. Joy of joys.

Believe it or not, I miss Debbie. I'm hoping tomorrow to get my schedule back in line a bit and get a workout in - assuming whatever the girls have doesn't club me over the head. ARGH!

Don't give up on me. I WILL finish these 36 workouts.
