  • Re: Vidiots' House of Pain - Part III

thanks- Sol - for the words of encouragement! I am REALLY wanting to get into shape. I still can't make it completely through without a water break(s), but I'm getting there.

this morning was BIU... I am noticing differences from when I was RIU-ing. Mostly in my waist and butt. I like this, tho. Last time I Atkins'd and lost a bunch of weight, I completely lost my butt. Hopefully, with these workouts, I'll lose weight, but keep a butt.... Maybe I won't get into the 8s, but if it LOOKS okay, then I'll be happy...

    Goal 8 - 135
Goal - To zip up current pants without sucking it in-10/25/09
Goal - To need a belt/roll waistband of current pants
Goal - To wear the next size down - 11/13/09
Goal - To wear the next size down - without a muffin top!! 11/18/09

Coco, you lost your butt?? What on earth??? You can have some of mine, sweetie!!! Pixie is pretty darn thin and she has a nice rear, so the workouts aren't making her go flat in the butt. ROFL I've NEVER thought about that as a problem!!

yeah, it was sad for me.... I kinda like my butt! After my first Atkins, I lost 50 lbs.... my butt became as flat as a pancake. (now... mind you... the HIPS didn't go anywhere!!)

Also lost quite a bit of boobs the last time... haven't had that problem this time.... not sure why....

I think it's odd how our bodies deal with weightloss. Well, I'm hoping you lose what you want & keep the rest!

Checking in late to say RIU done yesterday. 2/3 of the way there, baby! I did great on my trip, but fell behind when I got back, go figure.

My DH totally lost his butt on Atkins. Very strange. Maybe I should get him to workout with the squat ****.

My DH lost his butt, too, and I thought it was a guy thing. However, he did and still continues to work out with her. He does extra workouts to build some muscle back there and he's got a nice tushy now, but it took a lot of work. I just want mine smaller!! LOL

              Glad you're back, Anna!!!

I am soooo with you on the smaller butt!!!
I can imagine though that it would be horrid to TOTALLY lose it, dang, your pants would have nothing to hold on to!!!
Hehehe, ok, here goes: my DH keeps telling me to not lose too much, cause he likes my behind, heheeee, he used to be in a band and I am proud to tell you guys: there is a recorded song (yes it is truely on cd, out there in the world) that has a song specially for me, titled 'I like your a**' muhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa
Can you imagine THAT being played specially for you at a concert in a FULL hall!!!!!!
I am so with you Cocobelle on the waterbreaks, what I do is I JOG to my water and while jogging take some sips, so I am not missing a beat, only works when you drink from a bottle though (experience *grin*)
If I don't drink in between I get such a dry mouth I can hardly breath no more.
I still CAN NOT do those lunges, today I even cried while doing them, I feel such a woos!!!!
The crampers are going down easy nowadays though, especially when I don't think about doing them but for example think about a recipe I want to make or so, then it really is a breeze.
Again today did 6pack and limber instead of the abbs and stretch on the BIU tape.
                Have a wonderfull night y'all!!!!!

                  How funny about that song!!!!

Those lunges are tough!!! Must be careful with those knees!!! And no, you're not a woos (wus, wose, woss, wose...hmmm) at all!

                  Today's pain was BURN.

                    (wuz?)
Today I did BIU and 6pack, I didn't do no stretching, bad me
2 more and I got another week done!
Todays measurements were very disapointing, in total I only lost 4 tenth of an inch and 6 oz in weight, I just go and blame it on TOM coming next week, but secretely I am very discouraged.
I won't give up though, I started this so I will end it, but I really really REALLY hope next week is gonna show me a bit more

I spell it "wuss," which is what I am. Yesterday's workout was "functional fitness," aka shoveling the driveway! Just wasn't up to BIU after that. I also had a *horrible* eating day. I won't go into detail, let's just say it wasn't pretty. Back on the horse today.

Soliwit, like you, I'm a little disheartened by lack of visible progress. Clothes fit a little bit better, and everything looks a little firmer, but I'm still 2 inches up on all my measurements, and about 10 pounds away from maintenance. Oh well, slowly but surely. I'm going to try increasing carbs a bit and lowering calories and see what happens.

Workout #25 - a slightly modifid BIU - DONE. I skipped floorwork and abs, and added SiL because my back is still sore from shoveling.

Biogeek - Glad that you agree that snow shoveling counts. I was pretty beat after that. I love playing (I mean working!) in the snow, though.

BIU today. Workout #26 done, 10 to go! As a nice bonus, my rest week will coincide with my vacation. I'm not planning on doing nothing, though. Just taking a much needed break from Debbie for a week or so.
