Right now I'd settle for being able to sit down on the toilet without wincing! LOL

Psst....can I come into the house of pain, too?

I've done 4 out of the 36 so far, plus I'm walking/running outside because if I don't my a$$ cramps up so bad that I can't take it. Never mind not being able to sit on the toilet, try just getting out of bed!

Thanks in advance for letting me whine with you.

And just to make it postivily clear, I really hate Debbie's smile

Hey, soliwit! I have my little chart right here in front of me, but I'm missing my info. Thankfully it's color coded but all the same.....please check me if I'm wrong because I'm going by memory too!

I believe it's a 5 days in a row work out with 1 day of doing Slim & 6 Pack along with Slim & Limber to give you body a break, and then 1 full day of rest with doing nothing but taking Tylonal, water, and praying Monday won't come too fast!

Week 1...The first 2 days you do the Start It Up (SIU) to get use to the routine. Then you do 3 days of Ramp It Up (RIU) once you've mastered the SIU and 1 day of Slim & 6 Pack (on the weekend perhaps).

              Week 2 & 3...Two weeks of RIU.

Week 4 & 5 & 6...Three weeks of Burn It Up (BIU) once you've mastered RIU.

And again, I remember it said to use the Slim & 6 Pack along with the Slim & Limber when you need the rest or extra stretch time before or after.

I've done this several times before and can restart at Ramp It Up because I already know the basic routine of the Start It Up....and I've not completed past 4 weeks...ugh! But, go at your own pace, and listen to your body.

              Hope that helps....if any.

                  O M G !!!!!!!
I am going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOO sore !!!
                  But I did it !!!
                  Didn't even take a break !
I need to get a better mat though and looking at the other vids I saw I need to buy a resistance-band, so I am all set for the thing.

Ok so I need to do 5 days of exercise every time and then do the slim & 6 and the slim and limber, I mean for the whole six weeks ?

I especially like that remark of you Lisa, the praying for monday not to come too fast !! LOL, since I started on this wednessday I am going to make my tuesdays the restingday, don't want to slow anything down now, I am so ready to have that slim body this summer !!!
This summer will be the first time for me to return to my homecountry since I emigrated, so I wanna show off, people are going to be shocked I tell you !!!!
And yes I don't like her smile either, but that pilates tape I had freaked me out way more (the happy ladies in the back beating the drums, YIKES) What I like about this is that it is faster and more moving.

                  1/36 done !!!!!

                      Whoo hoo to everybody!

Heidi - Sorry you're still fighting sickies! Don't worry about catching up to me. I got two days in before I even posted, because I wanted to make sure I was really committed first. I'll stick around, even if I manage to finish early.

Brook - I almost posted in your journal to bring you over here, but I didn't want to pressure. So glad to see you here, since you're the amazing woman who started all of this.

Solwit - Congratulations on day 1. It will get better, I promise! Don't worry too much about what to do each week. The first time around, I just did 5-6 days a week, with Slim and Limber and abs thrown in as often as possible. I often substitute Slim and Limber for the RIU stretch routine, cause I like it better.

Lisa M. - Welcome! This time you'll make it the full 6 weeks!

                      QBU - Awesome as always.

Everyone - Take before measurements and photos if you can, you'll be amazed how much you shrink in 6 weeks.

I'll be ramping it up soon.

Soliwit...Yay for gettin' it done! Wow! I'm impressed! I think I had to pant through the motions the first time I did it. Nice. I bet you'll be giving those folks back home a nice surprise. Better yet, you'll be giving yourself a nice surprise I do believe that, yes, you do need to do the abs and limber along with the 5 days...for 6 weeks. Doing them will definately give you great results with abs and your body will stay limber with the stretches that you'll really want. I did that for 4 weeks...and I do plan on doing them for 6! Woo hoo! lol!

Thanks for letting me come play, Anna! I have my brain set on 6 weeks...smack me if otherwise. lol.

Oh, the pictures and measurements. Yep, got them and they're safetly hidden for the next 6 weeks.

Soliwit- When Si6 first came out Start It Up was 55 minutes long. They had us doing that for the first week, then RIU for weeks 2 & 3, and BIU for 4,5, & 6. I never made it to BIU my first two rounds through SI6.

Now SIU is what? 25 minutes long or so? Master that and then move on to RIU. Stick with RIU for as long as it takes for you to get through the workout and hit all the reps. Once you're doing that and feeling strong with it, move on to BIU. Screw the chart. LOL

I've always had the best success in adding in 6pack 2-3 times a week, but I've never done that the first week. I usually add 6pack in 2-3 times a week during the 2nd or 3rd week when I'm no longer wishing for death.

Slim & Limber is something you can and should do from day 1. It's a life saver!

Way to go on getting through SIU!!! It's NOT a easy workout by any stretch. I don't care what I'm doin for exercise, when I whip Si6 back out, it HURTS.

As for resistance bands, you can also use dumbbells. Heck, if you're in a pinch you could start out using soup cans.

Anna- Thank you for thinkin' of me! These days I could use the additional pressure. I've been SO slack for the last several months. *sigh* And lemme tell you, I'm payin for it now. LOL

Heidi- I hope you're feeling better! WTG on knockin' out that first workout!!!

                            qbu- You rock. As always!

Well, RIU done for the day. I'm feeling MUCH better today. I even stood up to answer the phone and didn't wince or anything! LOL

I missed two reps on plies - (my heart rate moniter came undone. LOL).

I missed 4 front lunges. Good grief I hate those things. They hurt SO bad.

I hit all the squats and kicks.

I missed 3 reps on my right shoulder and my bicep curls are slower than hers, but I'm workin' 'em like mad.

I hit all the @sscrampers, although I groaned and gritted my teeth all the way through it. And I missed 4 double crunches at the end.

                            Not too bad, overall.

So, long story short: 4/36 done. Limber is in my future tonight.

I like Brook's idea better about the chart... ...lol...sorry if I gave too much info that seemed overwhelming or scary. I'm OCD about things...

                              Yay, Heidi!!

5/36 done today....I suck big wind, but at least I didn't push stop and wuss out!

Dang, Brook...you're kickin' butt! I only made it through 1/2 of the reps in the arms and butt crunchers...if the dog could talk he'd be putting a sailor to shame! ....lol...I'm actually looking forward to my run/walk tomorrow. Perhaps it's because it's a break away from Debbie...lol..

                                Lisa - You ROCK!

Crackin' up here though. I'm horrible. I cuss and swear, grunt, groan and moan my way through the whole darn thing. Part of it is that I'm pretty competitive by nature and when she start spouting about "it's okay if you need a break", I can't help but think, "Bite me, Pixie." and I wind up pushing myself that much harder. LOL

Seriously, anyone that's ever pressed play with Debbie in there knows that these workouts are nasty tough. They do get monotonous, but I'll take monotony in exchange for butt cheeks that can crack walnuts!
