      WTG ladies!

soliwit -it's funny how fast it takes you down and fast you recover, isn't it?! Just wait till you start feeling so much stronger. I *love* that part!

Checking in with RIU done! That makes 6/36 - 1/6th of the way there!

I'm really struggling with those rotten front lunges. After doing all the reverse lunges, those front lunges are just UGLY.

And can I just say I HATE HATE HATE double crunches?!! UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH. I can't wait till I can do all of those darn things. I get so frustrated.

469 calories burned. Max heart rate was 187 again today.

      *ahhh*

Number 7 done for me too. I know I'm slower than that woman, but I will previal!

I'm fighting with myself to do the bicycle move...it hurts like a and I end up doing 8 of the whatever they are doing following Debbie's count. I'm still recovering from the bicycle when she gets to the double crunchers. ugh!

At least there's sweat and no tears at the end of the workout! It's not my butt that hurts, but the back of my thighs feel like bricks, my arms feel like dead weights, and my hair shivers when it moves.....aaah....it's all good.

And...I've turned the music "off" and wear my mp3 player instead. I like to drown out the voice that keeps saying, "Now faster...1-2-3-4..."

Anna...Yay for being down to 10 pounds to lose! Nice! Yep, I'm takin the whole running thing a little at a time according to my heart beating out of my chest and my breath labored...LOL... I guess I do the same thing...walk/jog because I can't seem to get the speed up for very long just yet. Don't they call that "wogging" when we walk/jog? I think that's what it's called..Anyways.....have a great one!

Soliwit...Eeeeek on the sore boobs!!! Sounds like you're doing a great job working it!

Brook...woot woot for being 1/6 of the way there!!! Woo hoooo!!!

Re: Vidiots' House of Pain - Part III

Ok I got one down again, number 4.
Somehow today was way harder, especially for my abs, it really hurt so I must admit I took some little breaks in between, I shouldn't be that surprised, those abs have never been worked this hard and now right into every day, I will get stronger.
I can really see why those things are called a**crampers, cause they are
Had to take a little rest there again (with the ones after the pointy-toe ones, where you bend your knee) I think they would be easier if you could alternate those, but she knows better probably, else she wouldn't have made this vid, hehehe.
I also totally noticed how she's very off on counting sometimes, like on those standing up side cruches, one side she does 16 and the other 24, heh, so I want to try to one day start on the right and one day on the left so each side gets as many, else I might end up having bigger muscles on one side (or of course I could cheat into 16 on both sides and have a break for the 8 others, heheeee)
I didn't change that in my signature, I had gained up to 182.4, I guess from retaining water in those poor sore muscles, but this morning I was right back on 180.2 yay !

Announcing (drum roll please) I made it through everything, including all of the @$$crampers without stopping!!!

And I almost called today a second rest day, since I spent the whole day cleaning house and playing outside with my daughters. I am wiped out, but it's a great feeling.

Good morning, fellow SI6 sufferers, er, I mean worriors!

Soliwit....oh, lol...I thought you were doing them twice a day! Phew...

Anna...Par-tey time for you, Girl!!!....I have envy. Nice. LOL...Glad to hear you made it through and played with your girls!

Brook....how was the measurements? I'm sure you were kicking boo-tey

I had to do the speed version of RIU today because I have my first ceramics class today at 10; of which meant, that I had to skip the resistance bands and go right into the butt kickers and abs.

I did 4 on each leg/butt cheek until the woman stopped...and then I died. I figured alternating them was easier for me to keep up my stamina then trying to do one leg and then passing out with the dog licking my face.

Hope everyone has a sunshinny day!

                            qbu- You rock, as always!

soliwit- Isn't it amazing how fast you start to feel the changes?!

                            Anna- You ROCK! Well done!!

Lisa- I think it's awesome that even in a pinched schedule you got the vast majority of the workout in. You can always do the upper body stuff when you get home. It's quick enough to do.

Just keep at it with those @sscrampers. They're horrible and could be construed as cruel and unusual punishment, but they are SO worth it!

                            My measurements:

I'm already down 6.5 inches and 6lbs!!! This is three times more amazing considering TOM is due here in the next day or two. My thighs are down an inch apiece, my waist is down 2, my chest is down 1 and my arms are down .5 each as well.

The first week always does that to me though. I have to fight tooth and nail for every inch from here. That's okay though. I can handle that

                            RIU - DONE!

I had to gimp through about 4 of the front lunges. I seem to have pulled a muscle in my upper left thigh, so I was trying to take it a little easy when it started screaming. The last thing I need is an injury to derail me right now. Other than that, I made it through most everything rep for rep.

Now, let me just say that I HATE HATE HATE Burn It Up. I'll finish off this week with Ramp It Up and then we'll see what the plan is come Saturday. I hate BIU enough that I tend to find excuses to avoid it. Maybe what I'll do is start rotating through the Slim Series for the last 4 weeks. I dunno. We'll see - but I WILL get all 36 workouts in.

                            I'm STARVING.

How is everyone's appetite doing? I'm ravenous lately. Yesterday and Saturday I ate like a horse. I stayed on plan, but I ate enough for me and any two other people. Even still, I got up this morning, weighed in and I was down 2lbs. Gotta love that. Just curious to know how everyone else's appetites are doing.

I'm off to go eat! Catch ya later!

Ok, one more down, so yaaaaaaay I have my wel-earned day off tomorrow, at laaaast, I thought it'd never come !!!!
I think I really see some results already, like my belly seems flatter, have to make pictures again in 2 days (cause then it has exactly a week in between, I took pictures on the second day before my secodn workout, so I want to keep that up and make pics every week) and then of course measure.
In my weight I see no difference, but I think that is mostly due to my muscles being inflated, LOL, some time that scale will start moving again too, I am very confident of that.
I am not that hungry Brook, not more or less than normal I should say, very happy though I do see those changes and feel myself getting stronger.
I am already thinking of doing some other video after this one, like turbo jam maybe, or something else, something fun and fast.
This thursday I am also going to do a class of tai chi, it's been years since I have done that and I want to see what form they are teaching here, nice to pick up again (did it in the old country for 6 years untill my job held me from it)
Ok, I love the idea of doing nothing sportive tomorrow though !!! wooohoooooo

Workout #9 is done, baby! 1/4 of the way there!! I'm getting sick, so that was TOUGH tonight, but I made it through. I really believe that it's better to fumble through as best you can, even if it's not the "perfect" workout.

Brook, I'm slightly hungrier than usual, but not tremendously so. Last time, I was ravenous, but I was playing around with decreasing calories and inceasing carbs. This time, I'm on pure induction, since I've got a long way to go to get back to maintenance.

Soliwit, tai chi sounds very fun. I'm considering signing up for some sort of martial art class, but I'm having a lot of trouble deciding which one. I want something that's good cardio and doesn't require extreme flexibilty. Let us know what you think of U.S. tai chi versus what you're used to.
