  • March Stability Ball Exercise Challenge sign up/reporting thread

    Exercises that count in this challenge include, but are not limited to:

    lying hamstring curls
    tricep extensions
    reverse crunches
    lying leg press
    push ups
    jackknife
    stretching
    slow swim
    side plank
    seated leg extension

    ........... any exercise that you are using your stability ball will count.
    More SB exercises can be found by clicking on the following, SPARK PEOPLE

    State how many minutes for the month you are committing to.

    btw, i am in again. this has been a good change up of things.

    march has a couple extra days than feb. had so i'll go for 230 minutes.

        I have a stability ball, but rarely use it. I'm afraid that it's going to pop! LOL

        Since this is my first month in this challenge, I pledge 155 minutes (5 min/day).
        HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
        Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

            Welcome to the challenge bio! Last month was my first month on the stability ball challenge and I have grown to LOVE my exerciese ball!

              Tried out the ball this evening. Didn't pop!

              Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

                I am so excited to be part of this challenge. I want to start out slow-I pledge 80 minutes (10 min 2 times a week as part of my strength training).

                        Got my 5 minutes in before lunch!

                        crunches
                        reverse crunches
                        push-ups
                        wall squats
                        hamstring curls
                        lying leg press

                        The times I fell off trying to do said exercises were not counted in my 5 minutes. I just added time for it. I figure once I get use to using the ball and learning how to balance without killing myself, I'll be able to do more of each type of exercise.
