      Got my 5 minutes in this morning: crunches, wall squats, and dumbell flies (biceps and tricep work).

      I think this weekend, I'm gonna try some new moves since I'm feeling pretty comfortable with working out on the ball now.

      I haven't seen frumpy anywhere on the boards lately.

          Hi all! Been a day or so since being on line...Still doing great. got 100/155 mins. completed through today 3/15! This diet is amazing! I'm seeing differences now and hope to have some pics up sometime! Ketostix are getting darker and darker purple too!

            That's pretty cool, Kevin! We think this WOE is amazing, too!!!


            This morning, I did my 5 minutes with crunches, wall squats, and angled squats. I don't know what to call the last one, but it's something I did when I went through physical therapy a couple of years ago for my knee.

                I'll give it a try, Jimmie.

                You have the ball under your upper back and your feet are on the ground. You try to keep your body straight as possible without having your butt slump down. Next, you basically do squats in that position. You can also have one foot resting on its heel while the other is holding you up and you squat with one leg. Then switch. Hope that all makes sense.

                  i think i did as instructed, bio. i guess you are rolling on the ball just a bit, is that true?
                  like rolling so the ball is up towards the neck, butt behing held up knees squating as the ball rolls. well, that's what i did anyway. lolol

                      bio, i'll see if i can't find the exercise at sparkpeople. if i do, i'll post the name.

                      edit:
                      i've looked through everything on that site and i see nothing.

                      the starting position and the slight rolling is much like a bridge exercise. adding the squat action, could we call bridge squats on ball?

                                Would this count as a stability ball in this challenge?



                                There are a lot of exercises that can be done sitting on it and using the weights as well as the regular stability ball exercises.

                                I just got one of these yesterday and am eager to try it out.
