      What's a torso lift??

      Today, I just did 5 minutes of crunches and rev crunches.
      HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
      Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

          bio, Im not sure exactly what its called so I call it the torso/butt lift lol

          lie flat on the floor, heels on the top of ball and raise torso/butt off the floor and hold for a few seconds, I feel this tighten in my buttock area and a slight bit in the abdominal area as well as my upper thigh.

          It was on a chart that came with my ball but it didnt give a specific name so Im really not sure what the correct name for it is.

          Jimmie I went thru it pretty fast, I break everything down and do it all in sets of 10 and my crunches I do in 25's and I only did 50 crunches today since Ive been slacking lately

                    Thanks for explaining that, Christy. I've done those before only without the ball. I have no idea what they're called either, but your name for it is fine by me.

                    I went ahead and did 15 minutes worth of ball work today to finish out my pledge of 155 minutes. I know I'm gonna be spending my evening watching a ball game, so I gotta be active during the morning and afternoon.

                    I mostly did crunches and reverse crunches, but also did plank squats, wall squats, and dumbbell work on them. Next month, I'm going to up my pledge to 200.

                              Did 10 minutes this morning, so 165/155 for the month.

                              I did my usual routine of crunches, rev crunches, plank squats, wall squats, and dumbbell exercises, only I tried to do more reps with each one. I feel pretty comfortable on the ball now, so I'm going to be venturing out with new exercises soon.

                                good job, bio! we'll have a pretty good idea of what our target goal should be next month. that is if you sign up again. i know i'll be doing another month. which reminds me, i should get a thread started so the new members can start picking and choosing what challenge they want to get involved in.
