      LOL Speedy. I hear you!!

Well 5/36 done today. My body is really starting to snap back and it makes me happy. It's much nicer when you can concentrate on specific muscle groups instead of concentrating on sucking enough wind to survive. LOL

Okay, I've made it through my first Burn it Up - it wasn't as awful as I feared, but boy do I stink at it! I actually FELL DOWN 3 times because I lost my balance on the funky new lunges, etc.! And I got real tired and couldn't do all the reps of several of the moves.

I'm keeping my chin up though - I know tomorrow night will be a little better, and every day thereafter too.

Hey LooseShoes - they had an advertisement at the end of Burn it Up for that Power 90 - and it looks SO tough! Good for you for working through it!

Congrats Wendy on doing Burn it UP, you did awesome! The first time I did it I felt exhausted, afterwards I just sat on my mat for like 5 minutes wondering if it was bed time yet, I felt like I had had a full day of activity, and it was 6 in the morning!!!

That workout is intense, but it gets better and easier, you'll be breezing through it in no time.

As for me I did my burn it up yesterday, so that's four workouts for the week, thank goodness. Maybe I need to be excercising more but with all my other commitments I'm finding it hard even getting these four in. I really didn't think I was gonna get the fourth one in there today. Again I didn't lift me knee during the lunges, everytime I do those things I hear my knees popping a little. I have good form, I guess it's just too much strain. My right knee is sore today so I guess it's a good thing that I am taking a day off from Si6.

Well I"m off I have to go to school, I have a saturday class today from 9:30 to 2:30, it totally sucks! I don't usually have this class, just twice a semester and I totally resent my weekends getting taken over like this, blah to them!

Okay, I'm not quite "breezing through it" just yet, but I DID do much better on Burn it Up today!

I can not go as fast as she does - especially on those side crunches and that thing where she turns to the side & lifts both up arms up while kicking one leg AT LIGHTNING SPEED.

But I know I must be losing weight because this is kicking my butt! (Of course I can't weigh in until next week because I'm doing that no-weigh challenge!)

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the "wrong" leg's thigh muscle starts burning - like on those side crunches - the leg I'm sort of standing on is the one that burns rather than the one I'm lifting up to meet my elbow. That happens on one other move too, but I can't remember now which one it is. Is that supposed to happen?

                  Confessions:
missed 2 days, but really missed it... does that count?
Today I did Ramp it up! It's such a good work out! I actually love it... while I hate it.
Doing C25k at same time and together it's perfect!
                  Miss weighing though...

I know! I HATE those moves!!!!!

In a word - YES. It happens to me on side crunches and it happens to me on RIU's standing hamstring curls.

On the side crunches, it makes sense that the quads in the supporting leg will burn rather than the one you're lifting. You're lifting your leg- knee pointed out- to work your obliques - and boy does it work, eh?! Same for the standing hamstring curls for me in RIU - it's supporting my weight and after doing enough work to feel like jelly, any more work feels like a marathon!

Thank you Brook - now I'm sure I'm doing it right. On the side crunches my standing leg stings so bad that I almost don't notice my obliques heating up. (Until a few hours later!)

I made it through another Burn it Up - this time in the morning. That's Week 3 day 3 for me - almost to the half way point!

I'm still doing it--a ton of pushups and squats with the weight day and they have yoga and jumping jacks with the cardio--that's really hard for me. I'm getting stronger and better, though, so it's worth it. Flexibility is better too.

Keep up the Slim in 6, girls! You're going to look awesome!

Well, I took yesterday as my day off - I always take Sundays off.

RIU completed today. I needed to sweat today and RIU, as always, did the trick.

Today was rough though. Had to drop back and march through a few of the front lunge reps, and couldn't push all the way through the final fast 8 asscramper reps - got 4 of 'em in and had to push back and rest through the last 4. Ugh.

But it's done. Tomorrow is another day!

I must be nuts - I just finished Burn it Up and it was AWESOME. I couldn't believe I made it all the way through tonight without resting through some of the reps here & there like I've had to so far. I think this is starting to work!
