    .......this sounds so great, kntry! it's alot of bang for buck. i'm not even sure if we have a costco around here. you'd like i'd know but it's not a place i ever shopped. is it a membership club type of store like sams?

    kntry, i got my book/dvd/ball/band at sams a couple years ago. i was pretty pleased with everything except the band. it's way too short. as i've gotten more into the higher levels, i've noticed how i can't possible do what the instructor is doing. not because of weakness or stability but because the blasted band is nowhere the length she is using. i swapped the band for some weights during part of the dvd.

    hey, do you guys use a mat when doing your stab. ball exercise? i've thought about getting one. i do this pike thing and doing it on the carpet just doesn't work so good.

        Got 20 min in this morning.

        What a great deal for $20!!! I'm not a member, but I'll certainly look into it or find someone who is.

        I use a Manduka mat when using my stability ball, crunches, and yoga. It's a lot thicker and studier than the traditional blue yoga mats you normally see. Unfortunately, it's also a lot more expensive, but my back thanks me everytime.

          Hey Jimmie I didn't see me on the list but I am sticking with my 500 you all had me freaked out at first thinking I was trying to do too much but now that I have this dang bum toe and can't wear sneakers for awhile I am almost exclusively stuck with excercises that I can do barefoot ......... so I will be spending a lot of time on my ball and squatting! LOL so keep me at 500 and we'll see if I can make it! I need to average 17 min a day

            as i stated before, i'll be changing things up a bit. maybe not so much dealing with the tapes or the dvd. i'm concentrating on my weights (toning these arms of mine) some crunches and some thigh work.

                Oct. 1 = 20/500

                I asked this in the Abs forum but if I am doing both challenges can I use the ba work on do in my stab ball time on that challenge too or do they have to be seperate ????? Like if I do crunches with my ball can I count the minutes here and the crunches there????

                  as far as i'm concerned the answer is "yes". if you can do miles with it you can count that too!

                  it's all working together so combining is fine with me. carry on with your good self!

                        I did 18 min tonight ......... tried a few push ups lol it must have been a funny site cause my 15 year old was cracking up .......... I managed about 13

                        Other then that I did my ab work, legs and stretches .......... it all feels really good now ........... well except push ups I really thought I was gonna go face first on the ground!

                            13 pushups is great!! You should've asked your 15 year old to do some on the stability ball.

                              i've gone back through the thread to get numbers. i'm glad to see some doubling day/night stuff and some of the pushups! when this challenge first came about it was nothing but pushups. man, we were really cranking them out back then. i remember starting out with them and i think i managed a few before giving out.

                              good work challengers! looks like we're off to a good start. isn't it great to have some done within the first few days of the month!
