  • July Stability Ball Exercise Challenge

    Exercises that count in this challenge include, but are NOT limited to:

    lying hamstring curls
    tricep extensions
    reverse crunches
    lying leg press
    push ups
    jackknife
    stretching
    slow swim
    side plank
    seated leg extension
    bridge ball squats
    1 arm rows
    stability ball exericse tapes/dvd's

    Basically, any exercise that you do, using your stability ball will count.

    i've had a day to think about my minutes. i was all ready and set to add to the number and then yesterdays radiation hit me. several doctors have told me on this journey to 'listen to your body". so, keeping that in mind and the bad day i had yesterday, i'm going to try for 160 minutes. that's not much more than the june goal but i'm anticipating quite a few days that i won't be able to do much of anything. lets hope august is a better month.

        hey livelaughlove! i'm so glad to see a new face in our challenge. we've grown pretty attached to our stability balls too. i'm sure bio and heidi will be here before too long

          i am gonna join this challenge for july. i recently aquired a SB that had been abandoned by my mom's former renters. i'm still getting used to using it, haven't quite got the knack for doing ab crunches on it yet. i love doing my pushups and squats with it though. gonna check out the links provided for additional exercises. since i'm just starting out with it, i'm gonna pledge 200 mins for the month. if i need to, i will increase my mins later on in the month.

              I readily admit to rolling off my ball MANY times...at least I provided some entertainment to my DH and cat! LOL

              This month, I'll sign up for 450 minutes.

                  Jo, it doesn't matter to me as long as we're on the ball (yeah, bad pun there!). I'm only leading the challenges when you can't and I rather have you with us than not with us. So don't worry about opening a can of worms or anything. (yeah, I had to find another reason to use that graphic! LOL)

                            i'm feeling very good today so i did all the balance ball tape and continued 5 minutes into the lower body portion. 20 minutes all together
