OK, so I have been doing very well with eating and exercising. Today I bowled 4 games and walked for 30 min.

"Glad to have you join us Liz... don't worry about the extra poundage-- you'll burn that off in no time! How have you been feeling since the surgery, did you have to re-learn anything, is your son taking things better now, and were they able to fix the problem? A ton of questions, I know, but 've been wanting to ask for a while now.

Good luck with the losses this week! Today's tuesday--the show's/weigh-in's only 2 days away!"

        Hi Ishyah,
I'm doing great! Better and better all the time. The surgery was way back in June (2nd)) and I had to take it easy, (tiredness and fatigue have been my only issue which is totally normal with brain surgery) but I think I totally overdid it and was back to walking 3 miles a day when I went back to work at 10 weeks, not to mention all the steroids and people bringing me 3 weeks worth of dinners and cakes, cookies etc... Then life kept going with a family reunion at my house, team dinners, friday night football games, taking my dd to college, elderly parents etc.. etc.. and I had a really hard time managing my energy level and figuring out what to put my energy into and what not to... I totally overdid... holidays and a cruise later and wow! I gained 30lbs all told! yuck! I was warned not to overdo, but geez! It's so hard not to! The cruise was really good for me though and restful. I feel very much rejuvinated and much more energetic than I've felt in a long long time! As far as any deficits go... none! I am so blessed. The tumor was benign and they got 99.999 %. I'll get another MRI in June and every year there after to monitor it. I was very blessed to find it as early as I did. and that it was so easily accessible to the surgeon and relatively easy to remove. No paralysis, or seizures, which I was at risk for. Incredibly, no bad side effects AT ALL! I have a tiny tiny bit of pain around the incision site which was rather larger where they cut open my skull: I had 50 staples in a U shape on top of my head. They only shaved where they cut so now that is all about 2-3 inches long. It's blending well with the rest of my hair so I'm done with scarves etc... It's kind of numb like when you go to the dentist and your mouth is waking up from the anestesia... that's how it hurts sometimes when I'm especially tired... but it's super mild compared with the headache I had before surgery that lasted litterally from Dec 17 until my surgery!

My computer crashed last month and I can't upload pictures to this site, so I am getting anew computer in Feb and I'll post pics then. You'll see, I look surprisingly NORMAL! ha! Noone would ever guess I had brain surgery 7 months ago! If you send pm me your email address, I'll send you a recent picture from my cruise on New Years Eve... it's realy cute! ;-) I want to post it here, but I can't... ANYWAYS! Maybe if I sent it to you you could post it for me? or someone else here could try...??? Sorry, maybe I'm lamer upstairs than I think. ha! but then I've always been a little lame, so I can't blame the surgery or the tumor... it just comes naturallly!

Thanks for changing my 3rd number.

I 'rested' today! (HA! I went to church and then worked a 10 hour shift in pediatric urgent care as a nurse! not really restful, but my muscles probably think so.)

I was down to 198 today too.... gonna do an hour of yoga and at least an hour of jog/walking tomorrow!

Your baby is adorable and getting so big!

Thanks, Deb. I'm sure going to need it today. I've been awake since 1:00 am and never got back to sleep. Going to be in the gym in 10 minutes (5:00 am).

Should make for an interesting day working afterwards...

Morning everyone! Well I had my day of rest yesterday and it was lovely. Tonight I will be back at it sweating away on my bike and hoping to come close to my loss goal. I think I may make it but even if I can drop to 196 I will be pleased! There is always next week after all.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Yikes on the transmission-- I've heard those can get pretty expensive! Good luck making your weekly goal tomorrow! I doubt that I will make mines-- my eating and exercise has been on point for almost if not over a month now...but I lost that 8lbs super quick, now the scale isn't moving. It's typical me though.. I lose for a while, then stop, then start back after about a week... Meanwhile the inches are droppin like flies! A loss is a loss
