I also hit the gym and do 60lbs weight on arms and legs. I don't know what the particular equipment is called though. I started out doing 30lbs..so I am excited to say the least! I did up till tonight (20 reps each machine) tonight did 25 and felt I could go further but didn't want to risk injury for the sake of a few more!
You better be!!! LOL
Seriously though, the weight is total for leg extensions and the hanging bar thingy with seat just below. NOT 60lbs in each hand (not free weights)
They have all sorts of stuff and I just go experimenting. I worry about looking too muscular honestly. Maybe I should only do that twice a week!
I am very self conscious about that sort of thing...I used to run every night (back a few years ago) and recall hating the muscles in my calfs.
well rose i inderstand and you dont have to worry about gaining muscle like a man because you have a large amount of estrogen and i have a large amount of testostrone........tes is what gives you muscles and estrogen is what gives you curves (boobs) so if i dont have to worry about getting curves you dont have to worry about muscles
It's the stay off the scale challenge! I was terible at first. Weighing in about 5-6 times a day. Had to have the scale hidden or given to the neighbor...ROFL! I've not weighed in for about two weeks now. I was planning on checking on the 21st (my month anniversary).
what I was suggesting was that we just take the last totals and when we run we add out new total to it
and the next person would take those totals and add what they ran
I am still not getting it!
So do I add the above totals of 7 run and 1 walk to what I did this am? If that's the case why is it only 1 walk so far when I did over that last night? Sorry for sounding like a goof.
OK I will hush up! I am still not understanding where the above 7 RUN and just the 1 walk came from. I walked a total of 3 miles last night alone yet the above says 1 walk for total tally. Am I still not getting the concept here?
