Hey girls! No workout yet but will do it here VERY soon.

Rikki - about your question on how to log it into fitday - I put it under calisthenics - low to moderate (general going up and down from floor). I don't have all the fancy stuff Brook does to figure the ACTUAL calories .

OK - I attempted RIU and it just wasn't gonna happen. I got through the first 3 blocks ok but started to sputter out after that. Tomorrow I'm gonna aim for 4 blocks and then pick up where they use the bands and so on everyday after that.

slimndown- did you get through the lunges or just up to them? Well done getting that far! Like we keep sayin', this isn't sissy stuff! These workouts are tough!

Rikki- Nope...only SIU, RIU or BIU (or in Shelly's case her killer Slim Series workouts) count towards our # workout goal. Slim 'n 6pack and Slim'n Limber are supplemental (and smart!!)

I did RIU and I'm already starting to acclimate to it a little faster than I'd like. I mean, that's a good thing. A great thing, even, but oyyyyyyyy....BIU scares me. LOL We'll see what the trend is for me for the week and decide as I go!

WORKOUT NUMBER 6 DONE TODAY! - That's ONE WEEK DOWN for yours truly! w00t w00t!

Today was tough though because I don't feel good at all. Got some tummy trouble The ab work was pretty ugly, but I grunted/groaned/b!tched/& moaned my way through it.

Only to find at the end that I'd only burned 362 calories for the whole workout. Grrrrrrr.

        My quads are screamin' though.

Oh! The good news? I can sit again!

Hey Brook glad you got your workout it in even though feeling yucky, I"m feeling pretty yucky myself this mroning but I"m about to go do it, if I can drag myself away from the computer soon, lol. You know I noticed the same thing about me, RiU is not as challenging as it used to be. I mean don't get me wrong there are parts that are really hard still but others that I'm just like, hmmm...ok. I was also wondering if I should move on to BiU but I've heard you say it is an "ugly workout" and that's got me running scared. I'll probably stick to ramp it up for this week and then maybe try the other one, I hope it's not too bad, I've never even peeked,

also my mom is having surgery tomorrow and I'll be over there taking care of her for the rest of the week, I'm not sure how or even if I'll get my workouts in but maybe I can figure something out. Ok, better be off to do Ramp it UP!

LOL, for those of you with the old Ramp it Up tape ever notice that Greg looks like he's having way too much fun marching it out between hamstring excercises. He looks like he's at the local discotec dancing around with a big cheesy grin on his face. I want to bust out laughing every time I see it, if you haven't seen it check it out.

OK Got the RIU in this morning and out of the way! I got all the way through the *** crampers! Not without pain but I didn't have to take a break! Woohoo! I am not rushing into Burn It Up yet, that is for sure. It's a long 6 weeks! LOL.
Yoly, Greg drives me nuts! You would think he could straighten that back leg already in the Proud Warrior! Grrrrr. And Debbie really does talk too much, don't you think???
OK, off to check in the 6WEC! Have a good day all!!

Re: ~*~*~*~SI6 Vidiots- House of Pain~*~*~*~

I completed Ramp It Up this morning. It is still somewhat challenging, but I am getting better/stronger at it. My arms feel like jello right now. I have Burn It Up and Keep It Up on the way to me, in the mail. I am afraid of them, lol, but by the time it gets here I think I'll need more of a challenge. I'm sick of Ramp It Up already, and sick of Ms. Siebers in general. "Remember if it burns its working". "I know it burns, now" -- just shut up already!

Does anybody have Keep it Up? I know you all said Burn It Up is rough, but I haven't heard anything about Keep it Up. I think it comes after Burn It Up?

OK- I am off to do ramp it up this morning, I am getting frustrated though becuase it seems since starting these videos, I can't get the scale to budge!!! It seems to be going up!!!!! Grrrrrr... I am not eating a ton of calories or anythign either. I am thinking maybe I have been consuming too much salt so I am going to watch my sodium intake for a few days and try to eat less calories!!!!! SOOOO frustrating! I am going to take measurements this afternoon also just out of curiosity. I don't know what I am doing wrong but sheesh!!!!!

Rikki- I've put on 2-3lbs in the last week since starting these. This is totally normal and a GOOD thing. It means your muscles are reacting hardcore and they're retaining water because they're mad at you for what you're putting them through. LOL It might take a week or better, but the scale will shift again and the water will go. It always does. In the meantime, we've got such beautiful, shapely muscles being built and BCtcCW on the way.

Yoly - LOL I notice that every single time...Greg gets all funky and stuff. I'll be thinking about you and your mom, Yoly. :hugs:

I'm reading through this and I'm totally cracking up. We're not even through a week here and everyone is already starting to get annoyed with Miss Siebers and hearing her say the same things over and over. I muted her a long time ago. I keep the volume down to the absolute bare minimum and crank the tunes. It keeps me happy

Floyd - KIU is a great video. It's not too long, moves right along, and is a solid combo of everything the previous three workouts are. My faves out of the whole series are RIU and KIU!

Do it, do it, do it! Come on Rikki burn the scale or at least throw it out of the window, lol, you know how I feel about scales. But awesome on the 7 inches that is so fantastic!! That means that you have lost 7 inches of fat all over, 7 inches of pure fat, holy cow, what an achievement!

Has anybody else noticed this?? I did my RIU at 5:00 this morning. It is now 10:30 a.m. I feel so much skinnier! Especially in my abs, it fells like all of the bloat is gone. I look down expecting my "baby pouch" to be flat, but it is still there. LOL I guess it is just a feeling, but it is a great feeling!

Whoo- hoo! thanks Yoly!!! But, I can't give the scale up, I prefer to know if I am going up so I can work harder at losing!!! LOL- I should just work as hard as I can, I know... my erasoning may not be completely legitimate!
I agree with you floydgirl! It does make me feel skinnier!!! I think it has already flatened my stomach some... I have lost 2.5" from my waist in the past 2 weeks
I have worked for it though!!! I just got done with RIU, then did TJ20!!! Yeah, I am sweating like a pig but I feel great!!!!
