            Oh by the way, my DD and her roomie (a 6'something guy) are doing this challenge as well with me. I got a call from him yesterday. Saying, "Mom, I wanted to quit! I really wanted to quit. But I was not going to put up with some lady laughing at me! So in 6 weeks I am going to be really buff!!!" LOL. He was hysterical!

              LOL, that is so hilarious Barb. That is great that you are motivating your family to get fit, awesome job.

              The thing I hate about the "8 more reps" thing is that she says it with this little smile that says, "yeah I know it's torture, I'm gonna make you do it anyway, and I'm gonna enjoy knowing that your suffering" grrr!

              Welcome Molly, you are doing fantastic, already shrinking a whole size is really great. This is a crazy bunch but you'll never be able to find a more supportive loving bunch that'll help you get to a slimmer smaller you.

              Thanks Floydgirl, that is really sweet, you too! I can really tell a huge difference and absolutly love your new pic. It'll help me in the mornings to know your out there huffing and puffing right along with me.

                You know what, I just realized something, all the people on this challenge are people who I had noticed I had stuff in common with and wanted to form friendships with. What a great way to get to know each other and get really tight. Great idea Brook!

                    Completed first 5 and a half segments of Ramp it Up! I amazed myself thinking I would only get through the lunges...but I got up through most of the suats and had to take it easy when she started kickboxing. I walked in place until the resistance bands segment - did all of that and half of everything else after that. How can she make us do all that yoga stuff at the end? I could hurt myself!!!!! My balance is awful and I can't quite stretch my legs out all the way yet - SOOOOO AKWARD!!!!!! Anyways, 48 minutes of exercise in. Kicking my butt - but not as bad as I thought it would.....now to cut and paste for the other forums....

                    I have Power 90 but got through the first 2 minutes of it. I don't know if Tony is annoying - haven'r really listened to him. But I stopped using it because he's so attractive that I couldn't keep from blushing the whole time and thought it's a disgrace to his image to have my kind of jello jiggling in front of his image...lol!!!! I'm not one who's usually that weird but with him I am and I can't figure out why - go figure! Maybe I need some mental help.....

                      Hello, all...did Ramp It Up yesterday and today. Also did Slim and Limber today.

                      Seems to be getting easier.

                      That "now 8 more" comment of hers gets to me too! And the fact that she's smiling when she says it!

                      I am noticing my balance is getting better and the lunges aren't quite as hard to do. The ab portion of it still gets me...and the push ups are a bit difficult to do, but, I'm getting through them.

                        From your posts I can tell this workout is going to be great! I have to walk up and down the stairs to get from my office to the outside world - I hope the handrails will hold me when I am so sore from the squats & lunges It's been at least a week or so since I have done those so I know I'll be hurting! I cant wait for the DVD's to get here!!

                        You guys all sound like you are so much fun. I can tell it's going to be fun getting to know ya.

                        How much space will I be needing to do the SI6? Is there anything else required besides myself and some dumbbells? I want to be prepared...

                          WATER..... possibly a towel... However, I myself don't mind dripping in sweat- makes me feel like I am doing something right!!! Today was probably the first time I felt I didn't have enough space... My cats were trying to lay on my belly during abs... no no no... and then under my feet during various other parts of the workout--- finally I got him to just lay on one corner nad the other ran off... I wonder what is goign through their minds watching me workout! LOL no tellin!
